He has a fairly tough matchup vs. a Flyers team who have won three straight including wins over the Bruins and Canadiens.
Ruutu missed the Hurricanes last two games with a groin injury. He sat out the first 29 games of the season after having hip surgery. He has three assists in four games. Ruutu will play on a line with Jeff Skinner and Jordan Staal.
