Rask allowed two goals on 25 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Maple Leafs on Monday. Rask has been all the Bruins could have hoped for in his first season as a starter. He is 15-4-3 with 1.90 GAA and .928 SV%. He has a tough matchup vs. the Habs, however they could be tired after a tough 1-0 loss to Pittsburgh last night.

Marchand-Peverley-Caron

The Bruins have been switching their lines up lately. Marchand started Monday's game with David Krejci and Nathan Horton but has now been moved to the third line with Rich Peverly and Jordan Caron. Daniel Paille remains in Marchand's usual spot next to Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron. He has 13 goals and 13 assists in 30 games this season.

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang reportedly sustained a broken toe on Tuesday in his team's victory over the Montreal Canadiens at Consol Energy Center.

Letang was taken off the injured reserve list Tuesday afternoon after missing four games because of a lower-body injury. He logged more than 24 minutes in Pittsburgh's 1-0 win, its 13th in a row, but told RDS after the game that he was not 100 percent after the first period. According to TSN, the reason he wasn't at full strength was because he has sustained a broken toe. If the Penguins opt to put Letang back on injured reserve, Simon Despres would be his likely replacement in the lineup.

Joel Quenneville called it a "stretch" when asked if Patrick Sharp would be ready to play on Friday vs. the Ducks.

Sharp will miss his eighth straight game tonight with a shoulder injury. It doesn't sound like he will play Friday either, but monitor his status just to be sure.

This week, doctors decided that the Red Wings’ defenseman, who suffered multiple facial fractures when struck in the face by a puck 10 days ago, would not heal any faster with surgery than without it.

Originally, the Red Wings thought they’d be without Quincey’s services for a minimum of a month. But that was before a final determination was made regarding surgery. Now that doctors have charted a course for recovery, Quincey could be back in the Wings’ lineup in 2-3 weeks.
