Murray's setback is presumably related to his knee injury that forced him to miss the start of the season. Murray had played in the last four games after missing the first seven, but it looks like he could be out for a bit again. The troubles with his knee continue.

Gaudreau has been on fire lately, posting two goals and six assists in seven games since being a healthy scratch on October 17th. Expect Brian McGrattan to slide into the lineup if Gaudreau can't go.

The Devils placed Scott Clemmensen on waivers on Monday, so it looks like he will be sent down, which means Kinkaid is on his way up to be Cory Schneider's backup. Kinkaid has gone 4-0-2 with a 1.95 GAA and .931 SV% in six AHL starts this season.

With Matt Calvert and Boone Jenner ready to return to the lineup tonight, the Blue Jackets had to make some roster decisions. They have sent Collins back after he played two games with them over the weekend. He had no points and a minus-1 rating.

Laich has been out since October 18th, when he suffered a shoulder injury vs. the Panthers. Laich has not been able to stay healthy for years, so this is not surprising at all. Consider him day-to-day.

Mason stopped 28 of 30 shots in the Flyers 2-1 loss to the Panthers. Saturday was Mason's best outing of the season, but he is still searching for his first win of the season (0-4-1). Mason gets set to take on an Oilers team who has lost two in a row, with a 3.55 GAA and .887 SV% in his first six starts.

Krug was diagnosed with a broken finger and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Returning to the ice is promising, but it remains to be seen how much he will be able to do with the stick in his hand. He could be back by next week, but that is best case scenario.
