Lou Lamoriello says Martin Brodeur skated this morning for the first time since Feb. 24. There is still no timetable for his return.

Monitor Brodeur's status later in the week. He has already been ruled out for tomorrow's game vs. Philadelphia, no word on his status for Friday.

Martin Brodeur
Henrik lundqvist will return to #NYR goal tonight vs Jonas enroth in buffalo.

Lundqvist had his four game winning streak snapped last Friday when the Rangers lost 3-2 to the banged up Senators. He will be back in goal tonight and should be well rested after having the weekend off. He has a good matchup against a Sabres team who sit 29th in the NHL (9-14-3).

Henrik Lundqvist
Pittsburgh, they will be without the services of Evgeni Malkin again tonight. Malkin continues to recover from an upper-body injury he suffered against the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

It is easy for the Penguins to play without Malkin when they have Sidney Crosby and Christ Kunitz playing at the level they are right now. Crosby had five assists, while Kunitz recorded his second hat trick of the season in addition to setting up two other goals in a 6-1 win. Malkin will miss the next 1-2 weeks with the upper-body injury.

Evgeni Malkin
Holtby starts tonight for #Caps.

Holtby was pulled in his last start after giving up three goals on 19 shots vs. the Rangers. It was his first loss in March, bringing his record to 3-1-0 with a 1.99 GAA and .940 SV% in four starts this month. He has a tough matchup against a good offensive Hurricanes team.

Braden Holtby
#NHL first Star of the week Sergei. Bobrovsky will make his 6th straight appearance tonight vs #Canucks.

Bobrovsky has been fantastic lately, winning his last five starts while posting a 1.51 GAA and .946 SV%. One of those five wins he stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 2-1 win over Vancouver who he will face again tonight.

Sergei Bobrovsky
It will be up to interim coach Ron Rolston whether Leino plays against the Rangers.

Leino declared himself ready to play last weekend but it is up to Ron Rolston to make the call on when he will insert Leino into the lineup. Based on how the Sabres have been transitioning guys in and out of the second powerplay role, expect Leino to get some time there quickly.

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was named “first star of the week” for his performance last week: 4-0-0 with a 0.77 goals-against average and .972 save percentage in wins over Colorado, Vancouver and Detroit (twice).

Bob upped his season record to 8-6-3 with his longest win streak of the year. Fantasy players know about streaky goaltenders and that you need to jump on when they're hot. CBJ plays at home to VAN and CHI this week so expect Bob's upstart play to be fully tested.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Boucher expects Garon to be able to backup Tuesday in Florida, but Lindback will start in goal

The Lindback experiment has not worked out well in Tampa (.894 SV%) but he is a possible starting option against a struggling Panthers squad who have a by far league worst -34 goal differential.
