J.S. Giguere rejoins #Avs in Detroit and will start Tue vs Red Wings.

The Avalanche have back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Giguere will get the easier of the two matchups as he will take on the Red WIngs on Tuesday and Varlamov will face Chicago. Giguere is 2-0-1 with a 2.87 GAA and .912 SV% this season.

Pekka Rinne is the likely starter today for the Predators.

Rinne has lost four of his last five starts while allowing 16 goals in that span. Rinne is now 8-7-4 with a 2.10 GAA and .921 SV% on the season. He has a tough matchup tonight against a strong Kings team.

Pekka Rinne
Kiprusoff taking part in full practice today. Wouldn't write off him being ready in some capacity for Wednesday. #Flames

This is good news for the Flames as they have been playing well lately and getting Kiprusoff back will help even more. He is still a great NHL goalie and could be a good pickup in leagues where he was dropped after the injury.

Matt Read may be back sooner than even the Flyers expected.

Read, 26, was originally projected to be out for 6 weeks with torn rib cage muscles, suffered in back-to-back hits on Feb. 20 in Pittsburgh. Instead, Read said he could be back “as soon as this weekend.” He skated in a full, hour-long practice on Monday -wearing a regular, white practice jersey - and participated in cycling drills with passing and shooting.

Matt Read
Better news on #CBJ injury front: Jack Johnson, Nikita Niktin and Derick Brassard are slated to skate w/ team in a.m., could play vs. EDM.

Johnson is the Blue Jackets best defenceman and he has missed their last four games with a shoulder injury. Johnson is averaging just over 26 minutes a game this year and the Blue Jackets will be excited to get him back.

#SJSharks call up Bracken Kearns from WOR and he's wearing a Top Six jersey at practice. Sign Havlat won't be playing. Or just insurance.

Kearns has 30 points in 50 games in the AHL this season. The 31 year-old won't be fantasy relevant.

Bracken Kearns
Looking like Jonas Hiller is going tonight against Phoenix.

Hiller and Fasth appear to be splitting the starts pretty evenly. He has not lost since returning from injury going 3-0-0 with a 2.28 GAA and .916 SV%. He has a good matchup vs. Phoenix tonight.

Jonas Hiller
Bernier left the ice first at this morning's skate, so expect him to start.

Bernier has been great in a backup role this season. He has won his last four starts while only allowing one goal in each game. He has posted a .958 SV% over those four starts. He has a good matchup tonight vs. a Predators team with a weak offense, but he will need to outplay Pekka Rinne if he wants to record the win.

Jonathan Bernier
Smith first off the ice, so there's your starter for Act II tonight between #Coyotes and #Ducks.

Smith has won two of his last three starts but his numbers were not all that pretty (3.64 GAA and .882 SV%). He will get the nod again tonight against a tough Anaheim Ducks team. It is good Smith is still getting wins but he needs to improve those numbers if he is going to be a top fantasy netminder.

Mike Smith
Nonis says Frattin is a game-time decision but hints that "he may need more time".

The Mike Brown trade was to make room for Frattin, but according to Nonis he might not be ready tonight. Check back for Frattin's status prior to game-time, his status might not be certain until after warmups.

Matt Frattin
Shock to no one, Braden Holtby makes 10th straight start for #Caps tomorrow vs. #Bruins, coach Adam Oates said.

Holtby has been good for the Capitals lately. He was a great play in fantasy this past week posting two shutouts and a 1.55 GAA and .953 SV% in three games. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. a good Bruins team who will be angry after a tough loss Sunday to their rivals from Montreal.

Braden Holtby
Garon will start tonight for the Lightning.

This will be Garon's fourth straight start in place of Anders Lindback but he hasn't won any of them and it doesn't get any easier as he will face a Penguins team who has Evgeni Malkin returning to their lineup tonight. Garon has a 3.05 GAA and .900 SV% in his last three starts.
