Jonathan Bernier (lower-body) was injured last night and MacIntyre has been recalled to be James Reimer's backup until Bernier is healthy.

Spezza missed the last two games with a sore groin, but is feeling better and will play tonight vs. Montreal. Spezza has 61 points (19G / 42A) in 69 games this season.

Luongo missed the last three games after suffering a concussion on March 27th, but it looks like he will be back tonight vs. Calgary. He has gone 4-5-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .923 SV% with the Panthers. He will face a Flames team he is familiar with from his days in Vancouver.

After Marcus Foligno was injured on Thursday, Adam has been recalled and will play Friday in Detroit. Adam has one goal in 10 games with the Sabres and 47 points (27G / 20A) in 53 games in Rochester.

Alfredsson missed Wednesday's game and did not skate again on Thursday, his status for tonight's game is in question, but his presence on the ice this morning is a good sign. Monitor his status after the skate.

Strachan has one assist in 12 games with the Capitals this season. While in Hershey he has recorded 18 points (3G / 15A) in 57 games.

Terry had his first two assists of the season in last night's win over the Stars. He played two games during his call-up, but his return to Charlotte means Jiri Tlusty should be ready to return to the lineup on Saturday.

Boychuk played 8:06 in last night's win over the Stars. His return to the AHL suggests that Alex Semin will be ready to play on Saturday vs. New Jersey.

Foligno got tangled with St. Louis’ Roman Polak 1:58 into the game, causing his leg to bend awkwardly as he fell – but Sabres coach Ted Nolan said it wasn’t as bad as it appeared. “But he’s going to be out probably the rest of the year,” he told reporters in St. Louis.With winger Drew Stafford likely out again tonight in Detroit, the Sabres will need to recall someone from Rochester, Nolan said.

Doughty was injured when he went for a hit on Sharks forward Tyler Kennedy mid-way through the first period. As of the time the team left the arena, it was not clear whether Doughty would travel with to Vancouver, where the Canucks will host the Kings on Saturday night. Expect an update later on Friday.

MacDonald allowed two goals on nine shots in relief of Joni Ortio on March 21st. He will get the start tonight in the second game of a back-to-back set for the Flames. They were victorious last night over the Lightning, and draw a strong matchup tonight vs. the Panthers. MacDonald has gone 4-4-1 with a 3.16 GAA and .881 SV% this season.

Bernier left eight minutes into the third period. He stopped 25 of 27 shots and left with a 3-2 lead intact. James Reimer who replaced Bernier allowed the game-tying goal, but the Leafs went on to win the contest 4-3 in OT. Bernier will undergo an MRI on Friday, no word if it is related to the groin injury that cost him five games in March.

Soderberg will miss tonight's contest because of the birth of his child. Soderberg has a four-game point streak (3G / 2A) and a total of 46 points (16G / 30A) in 68 games this season.

Iginla missed Wednesday's game against the Red Wings, but will be back in vs. the Maple Leafs tonight. Carl Soderberg is coming out for the birth of his child. Iginla has been on fire as of late. Iggy has 10 goals in his last 10 games and has a total of 30 goals and 61 points in 75 games this season.

Johnson stopped 31 of 33 shots in a win over the Capitals on Saturday. Johnson has won six in a row with crazy 1.33 GAA and .951 SV% and one shutout. He won his first start against the Maple Leafs this season. Not to mention they are on a terrible skid right now.

Moore missed the last six games with a concussion he suffered on March 21st. Moore returns just in time to replace Ryan McDonagh on the New York blueline. Moore will slide into McDonagh's spot with Dan Girardi and also pick-up some of his power-play minutes. "I'm 100 per cent, I feel great," said Moore. "No extra pressure without Mac in lineup, just a chance to play my game"

This is Vey’s fourth re-call of the season. The 22-year-old rookie has appeared in 18 games for the Kings this season (his first in the NHL), recording five points (all assists) and zero penalty minutes. Vey will join the team in San Jose but will not play tonight.
