Richardson missed the last seven games with an undisclosed injury that he suffered on March 4th. He will replace Chris Tanev (finger) in the Canucks lineup tonight. Richardson Richardson has not scored a goal since January 1, and has just one assist in that span of 20 games.
Tanev will misses most of or all of the remainder of the Canucks season. He had six goals and 11 assists while leading the Canucks with at plus-12 in 64 games this season.
Lack surrendered four goals on 30 shots in a loss to the Lightning on Monday. He has alternated wins and losses in his last seven contests, so if the streak continues he will chalk up a W tonight. In his previous 11 starts he has four wins with a 2.77 GAA and .894 SV%.
Byfuglien is listed as day-to-day but will likely only miss tonight's contest and return to the lineup on Saturday vs. Carolina. Eric Tangradi will draw into Buff's spot.
Pitlick, 22, has eight goals and 14 assists (22 points) in 38 games with OKC this season. He scored his first NHL goal on October 26 and then promptly got hurt in the same game. That goal is his only point in three games with the Oilers this season.

Schneider surrendered four goals on 21 shots in a 5-3 loss to Roberto Luongo and the Panthers on Friday. Schnider has lost his last three starts while recording a 5.08 GAA and .803 SV%… Yikes. Thursday, he gets a second crack at the Wild. In their first meeting he 16 saves in a 4-0 defeat.
Bishop is coming off a mediocre game against the Canucks saving 22 of 25 shots in a 4-3 win. Bishop has won three of his last five games saving 104 of 117 shots (.888 SV%) Bishop is facing a streaky Toronto Maple Leafs team currently coming off a loss to the Red Wings last night.
Nyquist added two goals to his total in last night's huge 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs. After starting the year in the minors, he now leads the Red Wings in goals with 19 and has added 16 assists for 35 points in 43 games this season. With tons of players out of the lineup, the Wings will continue to lean heavily on him down the stretch, you can as well.
Ondrej Pavelec is not on the ice for the Jets morning skate, so it looks like Montoya will get the call again tonight. Montoya allowed two goals on 25 shots in a loss to the Blues on Monday. Overall, he has stopped 41 of the last 47 shots (.872 SV%) in the last eight periods of hockey. He has a tough matchup tonight against the Avalanche.
Mashinter, 25, has 10 goals and 12 assists (22 points) in 34 games with Rockford (AHL) since being traded from the Rangers to the Blackhawks. He has no points and 27 penalty minutes in 23 career NHL games.
Hendricks was injured while blocking a Shea Weber blast last night. We all know how hard Weber can fire the puck, so you can imagine the pain. Consider him day-to-day until more details are known.
Miele has recorded two assists with five penalty minutes in seven games with the Coyotes this season. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound forward has also posted 23 goals, 34 assists and 60 PIM in 56 games with Portland (AHL).
Boll has been sidelined since early December after undergoing surgery to repaid a torn tendon in his ankle. Boll has registered 25 goals, 28 assists and 1,001 penalty minutes in 409 career games with the Jackets. He ranks second on the club’s all-time penalty minutes list (Jody Shelley, 1,025) and is one of six players to play in 400 or more games as a Blue Jacket.
Bernier will miss his third straight game tonight, but stepping on the ice this morning is a good sign. He remains day-to-day.
Ericsson was the latest Red Wing to be injured in Tuesday's win over the Maple Leafs. Ericsson's broken finger could require surgery and GM Ken Holland estimates he will be out two weeks. The injury likely will prompt Babcock to move Danny DeKeyser to the top pairing with Niklas Kronwall, as he did earlier this season when Ericsson missed a total of 20 games with a separated shoulder and broken ribs.
Reimer allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings last night. Randy Carlyle was not all that pleased with Reimer's performance, but the three goals all came on an odd-man rush or partial breakaway. Tonight, it looks he will face the Lightning at the ACC. He is 1-3-0 with a 3.31 GAA and .915 SV% in his last four outings.
The injury forced the Oilers to dress seven defensemen. Yakupov's ankle has been ailing him over the last month, but he had played through it the last seven games. Consider him day-to-day.
Mitchell was hurt after losing an edge on his skates while trying to check Montreal's Lars Eller. Mitchell slid back-first into the end boards and was down for a couple of minutes. Mitchell did skate off the ice under his own power, accompanied by a trainer. The Avs had no immediate word on the extent of the injury, although Mitchell did accompany the team to Winnipeg, where it will play Wednesday night. "We'll know more (Wednesday)," Avs coach Patrick Roy said.
Murphy was hit high by Blue Jackets forward Blake Comeau in the first period. He struggled to get to the bench and then went down the tunnel and did not return. Murphy is considered day-to-day until the Hurricanes release an update on his status. Justin Faulk, who missed yesterday's game with an illness, should slide back in the lineup for Murphy, with Mike Komisarek also staying in.
