Despite Tim Thomas being 2-0-0 vs. the Red Wings this season, the Panthers will go with Clemmensen. In his last start he allowed six goals on 36 shots in a 6-1 loss to the Lightning on Monday. Clemmensen is 4-3-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .892 SV% and will take on a Red Wings who are slowly starting to get healthy.

Anderson stopped all 27 shots that he faced in a shutout 5-0 win over the Penguins on Monday. The Senators will need another strong game from Anderson tonight as they face-off with the Bruins for the second time in as many nights. They were shutout 5-0 on Friday. Anderson stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 4-2 win when he faced the Bruins in October.

Bozak was back on the ice on Saturday and was centering the top line with James van Riemsdyk and Phil Kessel. Bozak has missed the last 12 games but is almost certainly in the lineup tomorrow vs. Carolina. Bozak has four goals and 11 points in 16 games.

Nabokov stopped all 23 shots in a shutout win over the Red Wings on Monday. Since returning from his groin injury, Nabby is 2-1-2 with a 1.96 GAA and .928 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Devils for the second time, the first time he stopped 26 of 29 shots in a 4-3 shootout win in the season opener.

Despite Tim Thomas being 2-0-0 vs. the Red Wings this season, it appears the Panthers will go with Clemmensen. In his last start he allowed six goals on 36 shots in a 6-1 loss to the Lightning on Monday. Clemmensen is 4-3-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .892 SV% and will take on a Red Wings who are slowly starting to get healthy.

Bishop stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 6-1 win over the Panthers on Monday. The win was Bishop's 20th of the season and his fifth consecutive. Bishop will be upset to see December end, he is 6-1-1 with a 1.58 GAA and .944 SV% this month. The first time he faced the Habs he stopped 28 of 29 in a 2-1 shootout win.

Tavares who did not skate on Friday was declared as day-to-day with a lower-body injury that will keep him out of tonight's game vs. the Devils. Tavares has been extremely durable having only missed three games in the first four seasons of his NHL career. Brock Nelson will shift onto the first line with Tavares out.

Lehtonen stopped 30 of 32 shots in a win over the Kings on Monday. After a rough start to December, Lehtonen is 2-0-1 with a 1.62 GAA and .949 SV% in his last three starts. He will face a Nashville team who allowed three goals to in a 3-1 loss on December 12.

With Roberto Luongo on the shelf with a lower-body injury, Lack takes over as the temporary Canucks' starter. Lack stopped 15 of 16 shots altering replacing Luongo in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Jets. On Saturday he will face the Flames for the first time since he allowed four goals on 36 shots in a 5-4 OT win in his NHL debut (Oct. 6).

Canucks head coach John Tortorella told reporters that he is day-to-day and Eddie Lack will start Saturday. Luongo will not dress as Joacim Eriksson will serve as Lack's backup. There are very few details on Bobby Lu's injury, but it sounds like the Canucks are planning to have him back by next week. In the meantime, Lack is the #1 in Vancouver and should make for a great start on Saturday vs. the Flames.

Giguere stopped 25 of 28 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Stars on December 17. After starting the season 7-0-0, Giggy has lost each of his last two starts and will be in very tough tonight when the Avalanche are in Chicago. Giguere is 5-2-0 with a 2.08 GAA and .931 SV% in eight road starts.
Day-to-day could potentially be a few weeks without its first-line left wing. Parise has clearly been hampered on the ice and in pain off of it, and my guess is he probably did further damage to the foot. Last time, it was recommended he miss two to three weeks. He missed one game. “If he’s not a game player, I want to keep him off the ice completely and give him a good chance to heal,” Yeo said.

Backstrom allowed three goals on 30 shots in a loss to the Flyers on Monday. He has lost three straight and given up 12 goals in three starts since Josh Harding left the team for treatment. Harding was back with the team today, but is not quite ready to go again, so Backstrom faces the Jets tonight. His 3.18 GAA and .896 SV% on the season are not exactly fantasy worthy numbers.

Sheahan recorded his first two assists of his NHL career on Saturday vs Toronto, they were the only points he recorded in four games during his call-up.

Upshall's injury is not believed to be serious, but it will keep him out of tomorrow's contest. This is a tough break for the Panthers as they look to move to 3-0-0 vs. the Red Wings, but they will have to do so without their second leading scorer. Upshall has posted 18 points (6G / 12A) in 35 games.

The Islanders are in action on Saturday so Tavares is questionable to suit up vs. the Devils, monitor his status following tomorrow's morning skate.

Havlat sat out Monday's game and will not play tonight. It was revealed after practice that Havlat is dealing with a lower-body injury and he does not have a timetable for a return. He has had a very difficult time staying healthy in recent years which has drastically limited any remaining fantasy value he had. Havlat has three goals, five assists and a plus-5 rating in 22 games.

Bryzgalov stopped 18 of 20 shots in a 6-2 win over the Jets on Monday. He enters Saturday's contest vs. his former team with a 2-4-0 record, 2.80 GAA and .915 SV% with the Oilers. It will be an interesting game to see Bryz face a team that he played poorly for over the last two seasons.

Smith stopped 30 of 32 shots but the second goal came in OT as the Coyotes were downed by the Sabres. Smith has been good in December posted a 2.19 GAA and .927 SV%, but the results aren't there having gone 3-2-3 in eight starts. Tonight he takes on the Sharks who Phoenix has split the first two games against this season.
