Ryan will play this afternoon.
Ryan was injured on a vicious hit from Dennis Seidenberg on Friday vs. Boston. Ryan said yesterday that his shoulders, back and neck were a little sore but he was not dealing with a concussion. Ryan appears to be fine, so get his 10 goals and 20 points in your lineup.
Injury
Mike Green will miss a second straight game after suffering a lower-body contusion against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Nov. 12.
The Capitals’ defenseman was on the ice at the team’s practice facility Sunday morning for a lengthy scratches skate and appears to be improving, but Coach Adam Oates said Green isn’t quite ready to return. “He’s out there, he’s moving around. [It's] still bugging him a little bit,” Oates said. “And even now he’s had a few days off, it’d be tough to put him right in the lineup without a practice.”

Crawford is expected starter for Chicago.
Crawford allowed five goals on 22 shots after coming in for an injured Nikolai Khabibulin on Saturday. It was an ugly night for the Blackhawks and Crawford. He will be in tough again tonight against the Sharks.

Scrivens stopped all 26 shots he faced in a shutout win over the Devils on Friday. Scrivens should see a ton of starts going forward with Jonathan Quick out. Scrivens has another solid matchup tonight, but he will need out-duel Henrik Lundqvist for a win.

Bobrovsky starts for the Blue Jackets.
Bobrovsky gave up three goals on 31 shots in his second straight OT loss on Thursday. He was given Friday night off, so he should be well rested and ready to bounce back on Sunday against the Senators. With Marian Gaborik sidelined for at least a month, things just got even more difficult for Goalie Bob. He is not as reliable as he was in 2012-13.

Thomas starts for Florida.
Thomas took the loss on Friday after giving up three goals on 20 shots vs. Minnesota. The loss moved him to 3-6-0 in nine starts. He will take on the 14-4-0 Avalanche on the road tonight. He is 1-5-0 with a 4.01 GAA and .865 SV% in opposing teams barns this season.
Injury
Nabokov left Saturday's game with an apparent lower-body injury.
Nabokov left in the first period after giving up a 2-on-0 goal to Darren Helm. Nabby appeared to hurt his groin in an attempt to make a save. He has been replaced by Kevin Poulin.
Goalie Start
Mazanec starts for the Predators.
Mazanec gave up four goals on 25 shots in a 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh on Friday. He starts again tonight, as he appears to have supplanted Carter Hutton as the Predators starter. Mazanec has another difficult matchup tonight with the reigning Stanley Cup Champions in town.
Gallagher (flu) will play tonight.
Gallagher missed last night's game because of the flu, but will play tonight vs. the Rangers. He has eight goals and 12 points in 19 games. Ryan White comes out of the lineup.
Goalie Start
Change in goal, Miller was originally confirmed but Enroth starts in goal.
Enroth stopped all 12 shots he faced in a relief effort of Ryan Miller last Friday. After Miller stood on his head yesterday vs. the Leafs, Enroth goes tonight against James Reimer in Toronto. Enroth has been solid this season, but he is a risky spot start on the road.
Line Change
Murphy will be a healthy scratch tonight.
Murphy has two goals and five assists in 18 games this season. The 20-year-old has averaged 19:18 TOI but will take a seat tonight with Tim Gleason returning to the lineup.
Gleason (upper-body) returns to the Carolina lineup tonight.
Gleason has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury. He will take the play of Ryan Murphy on the Hurricanes blueline. Gleason has yet to record a point in three games this season.

Miller stopped 32 of 33 shots in a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Friday. He will face the Leafs again tonight but this time in Toronto. Miller is 2-5-0 with a 3.27 GAA and .924 SV% away from Buffalo this season. We will see if lightning can strike twice.

Fleury starts for the Penguins.
Fleury gave up one goal on 18 shots in an easy win over the Predators on Friday. After a calm night in the cage he will go again tonight vs. New Jersey. Fleury posted a shutout in his first start against the Devils this season, roll him tonight.
Gallagher (illness) will be a game-time decision again tonight.
Gallagher did not play on Friday because of the flu, but could be ready to go tonight. If he plays, Ryan White would come out of the lineup.
Emelin (knee) will make his season debut tonight.
Emelin is a big, physical defenseman who will replace another big, physical D-man in Douglas Murray. He scored three goals and added nine assists (12 points) in 38 games last season. Emelin is the Habs leading hitter but is not a realistic fantasy consideration.

Peters starts for the Hurricanes.
Peters saved 28 of 30 shots in a shootout win over the Ducks on Friday. Tonight he will get his 11th straight start with Cam Ward and Anton Khudobin still on the mend. After starting with five straight losses, Peters has won four of his last five starts. He has another tough matchup tonight when Carolina plays in St. Louis.

Luongo starts on Sunday.
Luongo allowed two goals on 30 shots in tough-luck loss to the Sharks on Thursday. It was Lu's second straight loss and he is in danger of losing a third straight tomorrow vs. Dallas. The Stars have been on a tear as of late, so it is a tough matchup for Luongo.
