Komisarek has dress in three games this season. He has not registered a point and has a minus-1 rating. His best year's are clearly behind him and he is not fantasy relevant.
NHL Hockey Player News
The veteran winger was injured on Tuesday, and will not dress tonight as the Hurricanes go with seven defensemen. Dvorak is not a fantasy relevant forward with just three goals in 15 games while averaging just over 12 minutes a night.
Fisher has missed the last four games but could return tonight vs. the Penguins. If Fisher is unable to go tonight, he will likely play tomorrow vs. the Blackhawks. The Predators will hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 pm EST, his status should be known closer to puck drop.

Schultz had a bit of a setback and was unable to skate yesterday, but is nearing a return. Schultz will miss his seventh straight game tonight and likely won't play on Saturday either.

Berra was lit up and pulled after allowing four goals on 17 shots against the Stars on Thursday. Karri Ramo did not play well either so the Flames have elected to give Berra another shot. He has lost four in a row and has started his NHL career 1-3-1 with a 3.78 GAA and .884 SV%. Berra does catch a break as he takes on the equally as bad Oilers tomorrow.

Khabibulin allowed four goals on 22 shots in a loss to the Sens on October 29. He has struggled mightily this season - his 4.73 GAA and .818 SV% are as bad as it gets. Even against a subpar Predators team he remains a risky play.
Lack is 2-2-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .911 SV% in his first five NHL appearances. The 25-year-old Sweden native spent the last three seasons in the AHL where he posted a 56-45-8 combined record. He is not fantasy relevant other than spot start situations because Roberto Luongo is firmly in the starters role.

Halak gave up three goals on 24 shots but came away with the win on Thursday vs. Colorado. St. Louis got J.S Giguere early and often, leading to a 7-3 beat down. He draws a fairly tough assignment on Sunday when the Blues travel to Washington.

Elliott stopped 18 of 20 shots in a win over the Flames last Thursday. It was his second straight win and Elliott will look to make it three against a Hurricanes team who is starting to get healthy. He should be a strong start on most nights with a stout defense in front of him.

Bernier turned aside 33 of 34 shots in a shootout loss to the Wild on Wednesday. Bernier has only allowed four goals in his last three starts while posting a .964 SV%. He gets the start tonight vs. a struggling Buffalo squad. Get Bernier in your lineup.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 23 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Stars on Wednesday. Dubnyk played very well, but the Oilers could not solve Dallas' starter Kari Lehtonen. He will face San Jose at home tonight where he is 0-4-0 with a 3.35 GAA and .875 SV% this season.

Mason stopped all 24 shots he faced vs. Ottawa on Tuesday to record his first shutout of the season. Mason continues to play strong - 2.15 GAA and .930 SV% in 13 outings. Ray Emery played very well vs. Pittsburgh on Wednesday but it will be Mason who gets the nod tonight vs. a Jets team who is suddenly heating up.

Smith is not a great skater but he has good offensive instincts so they will start him on the second line instead of burring him on the fourth line with no surrounding talent. Smith has four goals and 12 points in seven games with the Marlies (AHL).

Thomas was great in Tuesday's OT win over the Ducks. He turned aside 32 of 34 shots to lead the Panthers to a come from behind win. Thomas will be in tough vs. a Wild team who have won five of their last six
Mason stopped all 24 shots he faced vs. Ottawa on Tuesday to record his first shutout of the season. Mason continues to play strong - 2.15 GAA and .930 SV% in 13 outings. Ray Emery played very well vs. Pittsburgh on Wednesday but Mason is expected to get the nod tonight vs. a Jets team who is suddenly heating up.

Desharnais was scratched on Tuesday after only posting one assist in his first 17 games. Desharnais had 10 goals and 28 points in 48 games last season, so the Habs are clearly looking for more offence out of the 27-year-old.

Prust has returned a week earlier than expected after injuring his shoulder on October 19. He is expected to skate with David Desharnais and Ryan White, unless lines shuffle because Brendan Gallagher (flu - Game-time decision) can't play.

With Green out, Tyson Strachan will dress alongside Nate Schmidt. John Carlson will likely move up to the top power-play unit. Consider Green questionable for Sunday.

Holtby allowed three goals on 27 shots in an OT win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. It was his fourth win in his last five starts while posting a 2.15 GAA, .933 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he takes on the Red Wings on the road. Usually that would be tough, but the Wings have not won at home this season, so it might not be as bad of a matchup as it looks.

Mazanec surrendered three goals on 33 shots in a solid NHL debut on Tuesday. With Carter Hutton struggling, Mazanec will try and make his case to become the Predators' number-1 with Pekka Rinne (hip) out. He draws a tough assignment tonight when the Preds are in Pittsburgh to take on Sidney Crosby.
