“I am leaving in the morning. I think it’s going to be one week to get myself in good shape to go to Edmonton. I must play a couple games. If I’m not playing any games, I wouldn’t know what things to work on. Only the games show that.” Bryzgalov says he hasn’t stopped a shot since he spent a couple weeks training with the ECHL team in Las Vegas.

Varlamov had his worst outing of the season on Wednesday - he allowed five goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Coyotes. He will be back in the crease tonight facing another tough opponent. The Capitals and their ninth ranked scoring offence will face off with Colorado in Denver tonight.

Price gave up three goals on 23 shots in a loss to the Senators on Thursday. It was his third straight loss - Price has given up nine goals in that span. He has a solid matchup vs. an up-and-down Islanders team and their back-up goalie.

Lack allowed one goal on 14 shots in a relief effort on Saturday night. He will get his fourth start of the year tonight - Lack is 2-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .912 SV%. He has a tough matchup vs. a Ducks team who have won four straight and seven out of their last eight.

Quick stopped all 19 shots to earn his first shutout of the season vs. the Sabres on Thursday. It was an easy shutout for Quick, but it was what he needed after giving up seven goals in his previous two contests. Vanek left after 23 seconds in the first. Speculation is that he was slashed on the hand. Stay tuned for more updates.

This one we saw coming. Either Bennett or Jokinen will be the odd man out when Neal returns to Malkin's side.

So much for the heads up. Looks like Neal will just be getting acclimated with NHL action tonight skating on the fourth line. Make sure you get him in for next game.

Brodeur stopped all 22 shots he faced to shutout the Flyers on Thursday. Brodeur has only allowed three goals in his last three starts and while the Devils can't score they don't allow the opposition to put much pressure on their goalies. He should be a solid start on Sunday vs. Nashville.

Rask stopped 23 shots in an easy 4-1 win over the Panthers on Thursday. The Maple Leafs have been outshot in 13 straight games, so Rask figures to be in for another quiet night - but when Phil Kessel is on the ice he will need to be on top of his game.

Fasth has been out since October 16 and there is no decision yet on whether he'll join Ducks on their upcoming road trip (Nov 12-18). With Frederik Andersen playing well they will not rush Fasth back. Monitor his status following Sunday's contest with the Canucks - they will travel to Florida on Monday.

Hiller stopped 24 of the 26 shots he saw on Wednesday. Hiller registered his seventh win of the season and third in his last four starts. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. the Canucks, but the way the Ducks are playing he should be a strong play.

Luongo has been fantastic as of late and is a must-start regardless of matchup. He has another tough divisional matchup tonight vs. LA.

The Maple Leafs continue to give up a ton of shots on a regular basis, Reimer has seen 128 shots in his last three starts (42.7 per game). He will look to redeem himself tonight against a Bruins team who eliminated him and the Leafs from the playoffs last year.

Don't look now but Peters has won two in a row after shutting out the Islanders on Thursday. He will have to be at his best once again when the Hurricanes take on the 9-4-4 Wild tonight. Minnesota ranks 16th in scoring and possess the 2nd best PP in the NHL. Peters is a risky start tonight.

"This year the symptoms just held on, it seemed like I just couldn’t shake them...It was definitely a lot different than last year. Nash skated this morning for the first time so he is progressing, but it sounds like he will be out until mid-December.
