Berra gets second straight start.
Berra was superb in his NHL debut. He took on the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, but did not seem overwhelmed as he turned aside 42 of 44 shots in the 3-2 OT win. Tonight he will face the Minnesota Wild who have won five of their last six.

Smith faces the Canucks tonight.
Smith stopped 48 of 50 shots in a huge shootout win versus the Sharks on Saturday. Smith has been on fire as off late, winning three straight starts and five out of his last six. In his last two starts he has made 89 saves en route to a 1.44 GAA and .967 SV%. He's got a tough matchup tonight vs. the Canucks.
James Neal skated again this morning and is scheduled to continue to do so as the week goes along.
Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said there is no timetable set for Neal's return to practice but he's progressing.
Kane (lower-body) misses practice for the third straight day.
Kane did not play in the Jets 4-2 win over the Red Wings on Monday, and did not skate on Tuesday. Monitor Kane's status during tomorrow's gameday skate prior to their game with the Jets.

Lehtonen is the likely starter for the Stars.
Lehtonen stopped 33 of 36 shots in a shootout win over the Senators on Sunday. He has now allowed three goals in three of his last four starts, but still holds a strong 1.94 GAA and .936 SV%. Lehtonen has a tough matchup with the Bruins tonight.
Coyle (knee) is expected to return to the Wild lineup tonight vs. Calgary.
Coyle missed 11 games with a knee injury but returned on Friday, before re-aggravating it and missing Sunday's contest. He appears as if he will be back in the lineup tonight after participating in the morning skate on a line with Mikko Koivu and Zach Parise. Coyle had 14 points (8G / 6A) in 37 games last season, but if he can stick on the top-line - he should drastically improve on those numbers.

Harding starts for the Wild.
Harding stopped all 19 shots that he faced in a shutout win over the Devils on Sunday. Harding has been outstanding to start the season going 7-2-1 with a 1.10 GAA and .950 SV% - he has clearly taken over the number-1 job in Minnesota. Continue to ride the hot hand, especially with Calgary in town.

Mason starts for the Flyers.
Mason allowed three goals on 17 shots in Friday's 7-0 blowout vs. the Capitals. It was his first really bad outing of the year, so we will give him a pass and hopes he bounces back tonight vs. Carolina. He stopped 32 of 34 shots in a loss to the Hurricanes on October 6.

The Oilers have reassigned Ryan Hamilton to Oklahoma City (AHL).
Hamilton had no points and was a minus-2 in two games with the Oilers. He missed 12 games with a knee injury.
Line Change
St. Pierre draws into the lineup for David Desharnais.
St. Pierre was recalled from Hamilton on Monday and will skate on the Canadiens fourth line tonight. The 30-year-old has eight career NHL points in 38 games. This season with Hamilton he has three goals and five assists in seven games.
Eriksson (concussion) is officially back in the Bruins lineup tonight.
Eriksson missed five games with a concussion that he suffered on a hit from the Sabres' John Scott. He appears set to return tonight vs. his former team; Dallas.
Boychuk (back) will be back in the Bruins lineup tonight.
Boychuk missed Saturday's contest but will be back tonight vs. the Stars. He will be paired with Zdeno Chara. Boychuk is a plus-4 with three assists in 12 games.
Eriksson (concussion) has been cleared to play and is likely returning to the Bruins lineup tonight.
Eriksson missed five games with a concussion that he suffered on a hit from the Sabres' John Scott. He appears set to return tonight vs. his former team; Dallas. We will update when he is officially in or out.

Nabokov gave up four goals on 31 shots in a win over the Senators on Friday. He has given up at least three goals in all of his last five starts. Nabokov faces a Washington team who expects to get Alex Ovechkin back this evening.

David Desharnais will be a healthy scratch tonight; Martin St. Pierre draws into the Habs lineup.
Desharnais had 28 points in 48 games last season but has just one assist in 15 games to start the 2013-14 season.

Gomez will be a healthy scratch tonight.
Kris Versteeg draws into the lineup while Gomez takes a seat. He has one goal and three assists in 14 games.

Versteeg was a healthy scratch on Saturday, but he draw back into the lineup tonight. He will play on a line with Marcel Goc and Tomas Kopecky. Versteeg has two goals, three assists and a minus-7 rating in 13 games.
Foligno did not practice this morning and he will not play tonight vs. Ottawa.
Foligno had just been moved to the first line with Brandon Dubinsky and Marian Gaborik, but he will not be in the lineup tonight. Artem Anisimov will slide into the top line LW spot, while Sean Collins draws in on the fourth line.
Ovechkin (upper-body) will be back in the Capitals lineup.
Washington gets their leading scorer back tonight after he sat out of the last two games. Ovechkin has had a strong start to the season scoring 10 and assisting on five in the first 20 games.
