His return comes at a perfect time, the Canucks have lost Jannik Hansen, Dale Weise, David Booth and Jordan Schroeder in recent days, leaving them really thin upfront. Burrows will play with Mike Santorerlli and Tom Sestito on the Canucks second line tonight.

Booth was injured on Thursday and missed Friday's game. He will be out for the shortest amount of time compared to the other injured Canucks forwards. Vancouver is still waiting for the former 30-goal scorer to stay healthy and produce. To this point he has only appeared in 79 games in three seasons while scoring just 18 goals with the Canucks.

Weise was injured early on Friday and did not play on Saturday. He had appeared in all 12 games prior to getting injured. The Canucks will be without three key forwards for at least three weeks.

Hansen was placed on IR last week, with an arm injury that wasn't believed to be serious at first. It turns out that he will miss close to a month which thins the Canucks forward corp even more.

Schroeder was only able to appear in three games with the Canucks before getting hurt. He has battled injuries throughout his young career.

Halak allowed one goal on 23 shots in a bounce back performance on Saturday against the Predators. The win moved Halak to 6-1-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .917 SV% this season. He will wrap up October with a good matchup against the Jets.

Paajarvi was injured after playing just 3:34 on Saturday. He will miss Tuesday's game after playing in the last four games with the Blues. Paajarvi could be back in the lineup on Friday vs. Florida.

Crawford was shelled for five goals on 25 shots in a loss to the Wild on Saturday. They will wrap up a home-and-home with Minnesota tonight, where Crawford will get a chance to redeem himself. Prior to Saturday, the Wild had just six goals in five previous games… Don't expect a repeat performance.
