Ballard missed the Canucks last five games with a foot injury. He will be back in the lineup tonight, he will replace Cam Barker. He has just two assists in 27 games this season.
Goalie Start
Schneider starts.
Schneider has won each of his last two starts with a 1.00 GAA, .967 SV% and one shutout. He will make his third start against the Coyotes tonight. He is 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .927 SV% vs. Pheonix this season. Start him with confidence.
Kesler will play
Kesler has only played in seven games this season. He said he wanted to play before the playoffs, and he will do so tonight. He has been out for over a month with a hairline fracture in his foot. He has one goal and four assists in seven games this season.
San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has signed unrestricted free agent goaltender Troy Grosenick to an entry-level contract.
Grosenick, 23, has spent the past three seasons at Union College of the ECAC. In 2012-13, Grosenick posted a 17-15-5 record. His 2.12 goals-against average, .926 save percentage and .609 winning percentage ranked him 4th among all ECAC goaltenders in each category.

Kesler returned to practice today and took line rushes which would usually indicate that he will play tonight. There had been no indication that he was going to return this soon. Monitor his status prior to puck-drop he could be worth a pickup if he does return tonight.
Goalie Start
Kari Lehtonen in goal Tuesday.
Lehtonen has now won two in a row after stopping 32 of 36 shots in a 5-4 win over the Sharks last night. He will start tomorrow vs. the Kings. Lehtonen has played well vs. LA this season, going 2-1-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .956 SV% in three previous starts.

Getzlaf missed the Ducks last two games with a leg injury but could return tonight. We will have to wait for an official announcement on whether or not he is in the lineup tonight.
Center Scott Nichol (lower-body injury) missed his third straight game Sunday and is not on the trip.
Nichol will miss his third straight game tomorrow vs. the Predators. It is unlikely that he will join the Blues on their road trip, so he won't play on Thursday or Friday either.
Right winger T.J. Oshie (bruised foot) is on the trip, but he did not play Sunday and won’t play Tuesday at Nashville.
Oshie will miss his fifth straight game tomorrow. He could be available for Thursday's meeting with the Wild.
Prospect Dmitrij Jaskin could soon be joining the Blues. Jaskin inked his three-year NHL entry-level contract last Wednesday, after which the Blues immediately assigned the forward to the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL. But apparently the Blues never intended him to play at Peoria.
Jaskin, 20, was the Blues’ second-round pick (41st overall) in 2011. In 51 games this season, Jaskin led Moncton and ranked fifth in the league with 99 points (46 goals, 53 assists). At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, he was named the league’s No. 1 star in November and January.
Goalie Start
As you would expect, Jonas Hiller exits the ice first.
With Viktor Fasth starting last night it will be Jonas Hiller tonight vs. the Oilers. It will be his first start since March 31st because he has been battling the flu. Hiller is 7-2-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .907 SV% at home this season.
McGrattan suffered shoulder injury on Saturday and did not return.
He will not play tonight when the Flames take on the Avs. He is not fantasy relevant.
Goalie Start
Varlamov is the probable starter for the Avs.
Varlamov allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-0 loss to the Coyotes on Saturday. He has a great matchup tonight vs. the Flames, so he should make for a decent start.
Line Change
Curtis Glencross will play Monday against Colorado.
Glencross missed Saturday night's game in Vancouver with a lower body injury.
Neal has a concussion and will miss the 3-game road trip, per coach Bylsma #Pens
First Crosby, now Neal. He took a hard elbow from Michael Del Zotto on Friday and did not return. Brenden Morrow will move into the top-6 to replace Neal.
Quick update from Ken Hitchcock on Jaroslav Halak: "Not skating, not practicing, so probably 2 or 3 weeks before we know what's going on."
Drop Halak if you haven't already, his fantasy season is over.

With Emelin out for the season, Drewiske is getting a shot on the Habs top-pair. He has just four points in 23 games this season.
