Bortuzzo will remain a member of the Penguins’ 23-man roster during his conditioning assignment. Bortuzzo, 24, has notched two points (1G-1A) and posted a plus-3 rating in 11 NHL games this season. He collected one goal, two assists, three points and 32 penalty minutes in 28 AHL games with WBS earlier this year.

Despres, 21, has appeared in 24 regular-season games this season for Pittsburgh, notching two goals, five assists and seven points while posting a plus-10 rating that places second among NHL rookies. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Despres has collected assists in each of his last two games with Pittsburgh. Despres has also been a plus or even player in 20 of his last 21 games (+14 during stretch).

That didn't take long. Letang was taken off of IR yesterday but is placed back on IR today because he broke his toe last night.

There is still no timetable for Anderson's return. However this is the first time he has been able to do goalie drills in practice with no limitations.

Cowen had skated on his own for the last week, but joined the team today. Bryan Murray says they suggested to Cowen to join the group, doesn't mean he's close to a return. Maybe late April but still not clear. Cowen has been on IR all season.

Rask allowed two goals on 25 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Maple Leafs on Monday. Rask has been all the Bruins could have hoped for in his first season as a starter. He is 15-4-3 with 1.90 GAA and .928 SV%. He has a tough matchup vs. the Habs, however they could be tired after a tough 1-0 loss to Pittsburgh last night.

The Bruins have been switching their lines up lately. Marchand started Monday's game with David Krejci and Nathan Horton but has now been moved to the third line with Rich Peverly and Jordan Caron. Daniel Paille remains in Marchand's usual spot next to Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron. He has 13 goals and 13 assists in 30 games this season.

Lucic played on the third line in the Bruins last contest and scored his first goal in 15 games. He has been moved back to the first line with David Krejci and Nathan Horton.

Letang was taken off the injured reserve list Tuesday afternoon after missing four games because of a lower-body injury. He logged more than 24 minutes in Pittsburgh's 1-0 win, its 13th in a row, but told RDS after the game that he was not 100 percent after the first period. According to TSN, the reason he wasn't at full strength was because he has sustained a broken toe. If the Penguins opt to put Letang back on injured reserve, Simon Despres would be his likely replacement in the lineup.

The Sabres did not provide any info on Vanek following the game. He will be reevaluated Wednesday.

After the game, head coach Dan Bylsma said he would provide more information once Fleury was evaluated further.

The Coyotes play Wednesday and Thursday so earliest Smith could be back is Saturday against San Jose.

Sharp will miss his eighth straight game tonight with a shoulder injury. It doesn't sound like he will play Friday either, but monitor his status just to be sure.

Hossa will not play tonight, but could return on Friday. Monitor his status as the week progresses.

Frattin draws back into the Maple Leafs lineup tonight after being a healthy scratch last night. He has just two assists in seven games since returning from a knee injury.

MacArthur is a healthy scratch tonight as Matt Frattin is re-inserted into the Maple Leafs lineup. Mac has seven goals and 10 assists in 30 games this season.

Wolski will draw in for the injured Eric Fehr. He has four goals and four assists in 23 games this season.
Emery is 11-0-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .916 SV%. That is right, Emery still has not lost this season. He has a great matchup vs. the Flames tonight. Start him with confidence.
