Leino needs to prove to fantasy owners that he can score at this level before he becomes fantasy relevant.
Harding will get the start after Backstrom got the win yesterday against the Avalanche. Harding won't really be fantasy relevant unless Backstrom goes down with an injury. He is a good goalie but he is still a backup goalie.
Bryz stopped 24 of 26 shots that he faced yesterday. More solid performances like that could earn Bryz close to 40 starts this season. He is a career 5-3 with a 2.84 GAA and .893 SV% against the Sabres.

Miller wasn't the same last season as he was in years past, and some of that can be contributed to the concussion he suffered from a hit by Milan Lucic. Expect a bounce back season from Miller as he looks to regain his elite goalie status.

Carcillo was playing on the Hawks first line, which could have made him a fantasy option in deep leagues, but looks like he is going to miss sometime. Keep an eye on who they move up to the first line, playing with Toews increases anyones fantasy value.

Kiprusoff who has played in at least 70 games every season for the last 7 years, is expected to play almost every game this year with the shortened schedule. The workload alone is enough to solidify him as a #1 fantasy option, but he will still post a solid GAA and SV% to go along with it.
Scrivens lost 3-1 in his first start against the rival Habs last season. He was 14-7-1 with the Marlies during the lockout.

Theodore isn't a great fantasy option. He might be a worthwhile backup if the Panthers get off to a hot start.
Bertuzzi is only fantasy relevant in deep leagues.
Smith was one of the top options in net last season and should be a safe start against the Stars.

The defending champs raise the banner at home. Emotions should be high, Quick is a very safe start.

Pavelec could be in for a tough season due to the travel but he should be fresh against the Sens. There are better options out there though with 25 other goalies playing.

Schneider is expected to be the #1 goalie in Vancouver this season with Luongo either getting traded or backing him up. Schneider needs to get off to a fast start though because Luongo will be breathing down his neck. Start Schneider tonight with confidence.

Vokoun gets the backend of the B2B. He should get plenty of playing time this season.
Fleury and Vokoun will split the weekend games for the Pens.

Bobrovsky earns the opening night start over Steve Mason

Depending on his play, Howard could start each of the Red Wings first 3 games, including a back-to-back.

Bryzgalov struggled at times last season and then again during the lockout in the KHL. He comes in this season with slightly lower expectations which may help him out. The Flyers should be a good team, and if Bryz can put it all together like he did in Phoenix he could be one of fantasy's top goalies.

Rinne struggled in the KHL during the lockout but fantasy owners shouldn't worry. You know what you're getting with Rinne, a lot of games played, consistent wins and numbers close what he had last year (2.39 GAA and .923 SV%)
