Center Matt Cullen, who is sore after a knee-to-knee hit with Brendan Morrow in the Dallas game -- a hit Yeo didn't like one bit -- missed practice today.
Sounds like Cullen might miss Saturday's game. He has 14 goals and 34 points in 69 games.
Injury
Koivu, who has been out since Feb. 16 after re-injuring his shoulder, has been cleared for contact. And he went hard today in an up-tempo practice that included some battle drills.
Good to see Koivu back on the ice after getting shut down. Through 45 games, he has 10 goals and 37 points. He could be an option in a week or two.
Line Change
Tim Brent was at center with Derek Joslin and Anthony Stewart.
Stewart moves onto the fourth line to start tonight's game. The power forward has nine goals and 19 points in 65 games.
While the defenseman won't play tonight against the St. Louis Blues and still may be another week or so away from getting back in the lineup, he was glad to be back on the ice with his teammates and coaches.
Pitkanen gets back into his first practice since getting hurt which is a great sign. Limited to only 21 games this season, Pitkanen has three goals and 12 points.
