Word is that barring D injuries, Pitkanen may not return until last two weeks of season.
Limited to only 21 games this season, Pitkanen has three goals and 12 points. He could be an option during the fantasy hockey playoffs but don't expect him to unseat stud rookie Justin Faulk.
Parise said went through the league’s concussion procedural testing before he came back out to the bench for the third period.
Sounds like Parise narrowly escaped a concussion. The Devils' captain now has 27 goals and 56 points in 64 games which includes a hat trick last night. Keep a close eye on Parise as concussions can remain dormant for a few days.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
