Repik gets another look with the Cats. Through 16 games he scored two goals and five points.

Starting goaltenders: NSH- Pekka Rinne (2011-12 stats: 33-13-6, 2.37 GAA)
In 19 career starts against the Blues, Rinne has a 12-5-2 record with a 1.85 GAA, .937 SV% and one shutout.
Line Change
Coach Mike Babcock said Quincey will be in the lineup Thursday, paired with Jonathan Ericsson, when the Red Wings, riding an NHL-record 23-game home winning streak, face the Vancouver Canucks in a clash between the top two teams in the Western Conference.
Quincey will start on the third defensive pairing and likely sees time on the second PP unit. Through 54 games, he scored five goals and 23 points.

Now Kindl is the seventh defenseman and will have a tough time cracking the lineup.
Kindl probably draws in every couple of games but no longer has a permanent role in Detroit. The sophomore scored a goal and 11 points through 47 games.

RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled goaltender Mike Murphy from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL).
With Murphy back with the main club, you can expect Justin Peters to start tomorrow.

Downie, a right-handed shooter, seems like a good fit on the O'Reilly line, with left-handed-shooting Gabriel Landeskog. Landeskog is Colorado's most physical forward, and now he has a similar-style linemate.
Downie will make his Avs debut on the second line tonight. He scored 12 goals and 28 points with 121 PIM in 55 games.

With Moore out, look for Torrey Mitchell to draw back in. The newly acquired center has an assist in three games with the Sharks.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
