Getting on the ice for practice is a good sign for the injured blue liner. Sidelined since January 21st with a knee injury, Nikitin registered two goals and 18 points in his first 31 games on the Blue Jackets.
Also should be noted that Ruslan Fedotenko is not on the ice. Again.
Sounds like Fedotenko could have a setback and indeed be suffering from the dreaded 'C' word. He has seven goals and 14 points in 51 games.

After missing three straight games because of the flu, Ilya Bryzgalov will return to the nets for the Flyers. In his last four games, Bryzgalov has allowed a total of just six goals.
In four career starts against the Sabres, Bryz has a 3-3-0 record with a 3.33 GAA and .872 SV%.
About Mueller: he skated Wednesday morning and all seemed well. Joe Sacco said after the skate that he would play. Well, surprise, he didn’t. The team said it’s a torso injury.
As usual, fantasy hockey owners are holding their breath on Mueller's injury. He has five goals and seven points in 15 games with a plus-1 rating.
Giguere said he doesn’t think the injury is serious. But we’ll see what he and the team say tomorrow.
At age 34, Giguere won't bounce back as quickly as he used to. Stay tuned for a further update on the starting goalie.
