Bolland moves up to the second line. The Mimico, Ont., native now has 16 goals and 27 points through 49 games. His fantasy hockey value jumps up a bit while playing with Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp.
C Ryan Carter (sore hand) has skated on his own. DeDoer said he's "day-to-day, doubtful to play tomorrow."
Doesn't sound like we will see Carter play tomorrow. He scored two goals and four points through 42 games with the Devils.
Devils coach Pete DeBoer said rookie D Adam Larsson (bruised lower back) is "feeling better", but hasn't skated yet and won't play Tuesday.
Sounds like Larsson is progressing but will miss a few more games. The rookie has been a bright point in an average season for the Devils, scoring two goals and 16 points through 47 games.

Martin Brodeur will start in net for Devils Tuesday night vs. Rangers at MSG.
In two starts against the Rangers this season, Brodeur has a 1-1-0 record with a 2.94 GAA and .870 SV%.

The Sabres sent Zack Kassian back to Rochester yesterday.
With all of the Sabres' forwards healthy, Kassian will get more playing time in the AHL.

Devan Dubnyk will make his 6th straight start tonight as the #Oilers challenge the #Leafs.
In his only career appearance against the Leafs, Dubnyk stopped 18 of 19 shots.

Hearing CAR's Anthony Stewart is being put on today's waiver wire at 12 noon ET. Stewart has one more full season at $900K on his contract.
Through his first 50 games in Carolina, Stewart has six goals and 13 points.

Staal continues to skate which is a great sign. Limited to only 34 games this season, the former 2nd overall pick has 15 goals and 21 points on the season. His return would be a huge boost to the Pens' offense.

Kennedy did not practice this morning and is unlikely to play Tuesday. The Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., native has six goals and 22 points in 42 games, playing mostly on the second line. Look for Colin McDonald to replace him in the lineup.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
