Petersson moves back to the AHL for the break. The rookie was held scoreless in his NHL debut.

Nokelainen is not healthy to suit up against the Red Wings. The Finnish forward has two goals and four points in 36 games. Expect the Habs to dress seven D if he can't play.

“I was pretty scared with the way it happened, it’s the same one that’s been bugging me,” Boyle said. “It loosened up. It’ll probably be pretty sore tomorrow. It’s a perfect time for a break.”
Boyle played under 12 minutes last night due to an injury. The towering center has three goals and 11 points through 48 games.

Tyrell did attempt to play through the injury, but it was determined that the knee was not stable enough to continue any further. He is expected to be out for the season.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
