Canes coach Kirk Muller said after today's practice that Skinner, out the last 15 games with a concussion, could return for tomorrow's game against the Boston Bruins. Then again, it could be Sunday against the Washington Capitals or Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Skinner could draw back into the lineup this weekend if he gets the OK. Before getting hurt he scored 12 goals and 24 points through 30 games. Keep your eyes peeled for the Rookie of the Year.

Hoping to be cleared on Thursday to begin skating again, Greene was told it would be another week to 10 days before his fractured big toe and foot were sufficiently healed.
Sounds like Greene's recovery isn't going according to play. The Trenton, Michigan native registered nine assists in 23 games with the Devils before getting hurt. He won't return until the end of the month at the absolute earliest.

Zubrus would fill in for Henrique on the top line if the latter can't suit up. The versatile forward has 12 goals and 22 points through 43 games, playing mostly on the second line.
A Devils spokesperson said Henrique is “resting”.
Sounds like Henrique is recovering from a few bumps and bruises. The rookie has been arguably the team's best player, scoring 13 goals and 34 points. Check back for a further update on his status.

Scottie Upshall and Jack Skille will probably make the trip.
Skille's return would give the Cats a bit more depth up front. The Madison, Wisconsin native scored two goals and six points over 31 games.

Bergenheim continues to skate which is a positive sign for the Cats. He scored seven goals in 26 games before getting hurt.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
