Defenseman Andy Greene is almost three weeks into his recovery from a non-displaced fracture in his toe. Lamoriello said Greene is scheduled to wear a boot on his foot for four weeks and then would begin the process of coming back.

The acquisition of Kurtis Foster certainly helped the Devils get over the big loss of Greene. The Trenton, Michigan native registered nine assists over 23 games and is at least a month away from returning.
