Ovechkin moves back to the "first line". The Great 8 has points in each of his last three games and four in his last five.

Green was spotted on the ice this morning which is a step in the right direction. The All-Star has been limited to eight games and has not played a single game in December.

As we expected, Weiss will not play tonight. Make sure he stays on your bench.

Phillips is a big part of the Sens' defensive game but does not contribute offensively. Expect Brian Lee to get back into the lineup.

Babchuk has an outside shot of playing during this six-game road trip. After scoring eight goals and 27 points through 65 games last season, he has three assists through eight games.

Expect Tanguay to miss the rest of the calendar year and perhaps more as the Flames continue their six-game road trip. While playing mostly on the top line, Tanguay has five goals and 22 points through 33 games.

Take Holmstrom out of your lineup for the time being. Holmstrom has six goals and 15 points through 33 games.

As usual, the Wings will work their youngster into the lineup.

In 14 career appearances against the Canes, Fleury has a 5-5-1-2 record with a 2.80 GAA, .906 SV% and one shutout.

Josefson was expected to carry some of the load down the middle with Travis Zajac injured but got hurt. The former 20th overall pick scored three goals and 11 points over 33 career NHL games.

Tallinder has missed the last five games, giving way to rookies Matt Taormina and Alexander Urbom. Safe to say he wont have to earn his place in the lineup when he returns.

We likely won't see Moss until at least February, if not later. The former 7th round pick scored a goal and five points through 15 games playing between the first and fourth lines. Look for the Flames to continue looking at youngsters like Paul Byron and Greg Nemisz in the meantime.

In six career starts against the Flyers, Garon has a 2-4-0 record with a 3.63 GAA and .884 SV%.

Pretty cryptic update on the defensive stalwart. Check back for a further update on his status.

Weiss has not practiced since getting injured on the 22nd. Coach Kevin Dineen did hint that Weiss could miss the rest of the calendar year so it is safe to assume he misses tonight's game. His 32 points through 35 games remain second on the team.

Look for Cullen to play on the fourth line tonight. He has no fantasy hockey value.

With Gagne's injury history, it would not be surprising for the scoring winger to miss a few games. The Ste-Foy, Que. native scored seven goals and 17 points through 34 games.

Safe to assume Carcillo gets back on the ice shortly. The pugilistic winger has two goals and nine points to go along with 60 PIM over 26 games.

Sounds like the big concern is internal bleeding or another long-term possibility. The Caps could dress seven d-men or possibly slot Jay Beagle back into the lineup.

In seven career starts against the Blue Jackets, Lehtonen has a 4-2-1 record with a 1.56 GAA, .948 SV% and one shutout.
