Brent has a sliver of fantasy hockey relevance because he plays with Eric Staal on the top PP unit. He will continue to be replaced by rookie Riley Nash on the fourth line.

Milan Michalek says he won't return until after Christmas. Says his head is fine but just needs more conditioning time
Michalek has missed the past three games and definitely won't play Thursday or Friday. His 19 goals are still tops on the team and are one behind Steven Stamkos for the team lead.

Butler steps out of the doghouse and back onto the fourth line. He has two goals and six points through 23 games.

Regin just can't stay on the ice as he is expected to miss another significant chunk of playing time. The Danish center has only played in 10 games due to an injury earlier in the year. Look for Stephane Da Costa to get another look on the third line.

Expect Tim Erixon and not Jeff Woywitka to man the third pairing tonight. Neither player has much fantasy hockey value as a 5-7 d-man.

In 26 starts against his former team, Biron has a 20-4-1 record with a 2.00 GAA, .932 SV% and two shutouts.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
