WILMINGTON — Andrew Ference was the only player missing at Bruins’ practice Monday, as the defenseman has been out with a lower-body injury.
Ference likely misses his second consecutive game tomorrow. Prior to this lower-body injury he posted five assists over 14 games. Expect Steve Kampfer to stay in the lineup.

Loktionov registered three goals and 14 points during his first 17 games with the Monarchs. He should get a crack at a scoring line with Dustin Penner sidelined.
Pitkanen not at skate.
Pitkanen will miss his second consecutive game tonight. Prior to getting hurt he registered three goals and eight points with a minus-10 rating. Look for Derek Joslin to stay in the lineup and Jamie McBain to take his spot on the top PP unit.

Kostitsyn's absence is a solid indication he will not play tonight. Prior to this injury he scored five goals and nine points over 13 games.
Andrei Markov skating with his teammates this morning! Granted, he's wearing a jersey of a different colour, but still...
Markov practicing with teammates is certainly a welcome sign however he remains a while away from returning. His last NHL game came over a year ago on November 13th.
Tim Connolly is a possibility for tomorrow vs Phx. Worst case, Thurs in Nashville.
If you own Connolly, be sure to activate him soon. He scored a goal and four points through six games with his new team.
Brent Seabrook left the game in second period after hitting the boards hard behind the Oilers net. The Hawks declared him out for the rest of the night due to a lower body injury. It appeared Seabrook hurt his left leg on the fall.
Seabrook averages over 23 minutes of ice time a game which makes his loss a big blow to the Blackhawks. Check back for a further update.

Niederreiter played well over six games in Bridgeport and will have nine more to play in New York before the Isles make a decision. Expect him to draw in on a scoring line.

Ryan Miller has a concussion and is out of the lineup for an undetermined length of time.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
