#CBJ C Ryan Johansen appears back in the lineup tonight vs #wpgjets. Also looks like he's playing C b/w Vinny Prospal and Mark Letestu.

Looks like Johansen will be moved back to center after getting scratched. The 19-year-old scored three goals and five points over 11 games which includes an even plus/minus and two game winning goals.

#CBJ GM Scott Howson says Mark Dekanich's groin injury is not a day-to-day injury. "It could be 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 or 4 ... we're not sure."

Barring a trade, Curtis Sanford and Allen York look like the options as backup goalie. Dekanich was expected to compete with Steve Mason for the starting goalie position but those plans have been setback.

Stars have recalled defenseman Philip Larsen.

Alex Goligoski is injured and unable to play tonight making Larsen the natural fit to replace him. Look for him to get healthy minutes on the power play. The Danish defender has a goal and 10 points in as many games.

Mark Dekanich strained his groin in warm up in Springfield tonight and will not play. Will know more on severity of the injury tomorrow.

Dekanich had a setback and likely will not be recalled to backup Steve Mason. Curtis Sanford certainly could benefit from a longer absence.

Dallas Stars defenseman Alex Goligoski left Friday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins with a hand injury suffered in the first period. "He's going to have some X-rays (on his hand), but I think he's going to be out for a little bit," said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan

Tough break for Goligoski, who has two goals and six points through 14 games. Look for Sheldon Souray and Trevor Daley to move into a larger role offensively and for Adam Pardy to draw back into the lineup.

“It’s a different soreness,” Boudreau said. “At least it’s not the ankle, so that’s good news. I’m pretty confident (it’s not serious). I talked to him already about it and it’s a day-to-day thing. Not a three-week day-to-day thing. It’s an actual day-to-day thing.”

Don't expect Green to play against the Devils tomorrow but he probably draws in within the week. Expect him to be fine with a bit of rest.

Mike Green
Franzen had four goals, six points and a plus-5 rating in his past two games, after being held without a point, recording just seven shots and posting a minus-5 rating in his previous six games.

Due to his inconsistency in the beginning of the season you may be able to lure Franzen away from his owner.

Johan Franzen
Jets head coach Claude Noel wasn’t ready to say which game Mason would start, but intimated he would be back between the pipes at some point during the next four games.

Mason last played in the team's 9-8 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. The veteran holds a 1-2-0 record with a .893SV% and 2.68 GAA over four appearances with the Jets.
