Frattin is still looking for his first NHL point after playing six games with the Leafs. Playing with Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin should help his chances.

With no changes to the lineup, Franson will be scratched for the fourth time in six games.

Look for Kadri to start the game on the third line, playing with Matthew Lombardi and David Steckel.

Tough break for Armstrong, who has battled injuries for the last two seasons. Nazem Kadri has been recalled from the AHL to take his place on the third line.

Savard has manned the top defensive unit and PP unit with James Wisniewski suspended. Over those six games, the rookie has two assists with a minus-2 rating. The team likely does not want to subject him to further losses at this point.

In 16 career starts against the Red Wings, Mason holds a 6-8-2 record with a 2.63 GAA, .922 SV% and three shutouts.

York is recovering from injury still but the team needs a backup. Don't expect any fantasy hockey value.

Certainly sounds like Jay Beagle does indeed have a concussion. Look for D.J. King and Matthieu Perreault to continue filling his spot on the fourth line.

With only six shots through five games, the gritty winger has had trouble generating scoring chances. Look for him to improve on those totals once he gains chemistry with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom.

His recall could mean Martin Havlat is not healthy enough to play tomorrow. We should know either later today or tomorrow.

Brodeur will need a few extra days to rest, which rules him out of tomorrow's game against the Sharks. As the all-time leader in games, wins, shutouts -- essentially everything -- his body simply does not bounce back like it used to.

Peckham looked like a good source of PIM last season with 198. This year he has only played in four of the team's six games, falling behind Andy Sutton and Corey Potter on the depth chart. Could be time to look for a better option.
