Also per Trotz Forward Martin Erat will not make the trip initially, but he could meet the team during one of their off days.
The team has off days on the 18th, 19th and 21st so Erat very well could play within the next 7-10 days. Last season, Erat scored 17 goals and 50 points playing primarily on the top two lines. As an often injured forward, fantasy hockey owners need to temper their expectations.

He also said forward Mike Fisher would not make the trip.
The team returns from their road trip on 10/25 making Fisher's earliest possible return date then. Last season, he scored five goals and 12 points through 27 games with the Preds before breaking out in the playoffs. He likely starts on a bottom line as he eases back into the lineup.
In terms of other injured players, Trotz said that defenseman Francis Bouillon (concussion) would make next week’s trip to Western Canada, though he didn’t expect Bouillon to play.
Bouillon would serve as the team's number five defenseman when he returns. Prior to his concussion, he scored a goal and 10 points through 44 games. Expect him to help stabilizing the back end.
“It feels OK, not bad, getting better and better,” Hornqvist said. “(We’ll) see if they think I’m ready or not. That’s up to the doctor and coaches to tell me.”
If Hornqvist can't play tonight, look for Niclas Bergfors to stay in the lineup. Stay tuned for a further update prior to tonight's game.

Through seven career starts against the Blackhawks, Thomas went 5-1-1 record with a 2.40 GAA, .932 SV% and one shutout.

Connolly will start on a line with Stamkos and St. Louis tonight.
Connolly has one assist through his first four NHL games. The former sixth overall pick actually added a plus-1 rating in the team's recent 5-1 loss to the Lightning. Expect him to get a long look with the top line.

Look for Matt Barkowski to take his lineup spot. Considering McQuaid plays third pairing minutes with no PP time, don't expect any fantasy hockey impact.

Jeffrey could benefit from injuries to Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. Last season he impressed the big club, playing 25 games and finishing with seven goals and 12 points.
