Gaudreau (illness) will return to Columbus' lineup on Saturday vs. PHI.

Gaudreau did not play in the Blue Jackets' 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday but will return to the lineup on Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Gaudreau has nearly been a point-per-game player in the second half of the season, scoring 31 points (4G / 27A) in his last 33 games after scoring only 25 (7G / 8A) in his previous 42.

Bogosian (undisclosed) is doubtful to return on Saturday but will travel with Minnesota on their road-trip.

Bogosian played 21:47 on Tuesday and recorded one assist but is battling an undisclosed injury and is expected to miss a second straight game on Saturday. Alex Goligoski drew into the lineup in his place on Thursday.

Zach Bogosian
Fleury has been recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL) on Friday.

Fleury was recalled last week as well but did not draw into Seatle's lineup and has yet to play an NHL game this season. The 25-year-old defenseman has 33 points (6G / 27A) in 61 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL).

Cale Fleury
Tarasov (upper body) is still without an update on his status for Saturday.

With Elvis Merzlikins (lower body) also day-to-day due to an injury, Columbus will have to call-up a goaltender as they are without an update on Daniil Tarasov after he left Thursday's game early due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old has been on a bit of a tear lately, with his 5-5-1 record and .933 SV% in his last 13 games played.

Daniil Tarasov
Bean (undisclosed) will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Bean exited Thursday's 4-2 loss to the New York Islanders after playing 13:49 time-on-ice and will miss the remainder of the season. The 25-year-old Bean ends the season with 13 points (4G / 9A), 76 shots, and 110 blocks in 72 games.

Jake Bean
Giordano is expected to draw back into Toronto's lineup on Saturday in Montreal.

Connor Timmins will be a healthy scratch on Saturday, allowing Giordano to re-enter the lineup. Before being a scratch in their last game, Giordano played three straight for the Maple Leafs, averaging over 15 minutes of time-on-ice, scoring one goal, and recording 14 penalty minutes.

Mark Giordano
Marner (ankle) is targetting a return on Saturday in Montreal after taking part in practice on Friday.

Marner has missed the Maple Leafs' previous 12 games due to an ankle injury but could return to the lineup on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 26-year-old will likely have a handful of games left in the season to add to his 25 goals and 76 points in 62 games.

Mitch Marner
Quick was the first goalie off the ice at the Rangers' morning skate.

The Rangers will likely turn to Quick for the second time in the last four games as the Rangers visit the Detroit Red Wings. Quick struggled in his last outing, allowing five goals on 32 shots (.844 SV%), but received adequate offensive support from his team in an eventual 8-5 win over the Arizona Coyotes. The Rangers enter on Friday as -137 road favourites.

Jonathan Quick
Zamula appears to be a healthy scratch on Friday vs. Buffalo after being questioned in practice Thursday by John Tortorella.

Zamula was in line to be in Philadelphia's lineup on Friday but was asked to leave practice early on Thursday by head coach John Tortorella after not impressing the head coach with his effort. The 24-year-old defenseman has enjoyed a productive first full season with the Flyers, with his five goals, 20 points, 58 SOG, 32 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 63 games in 2023-24.

Egor Zamula
Cirelli (undisclosed) left Thursday's game due to injury and is considered "dinged up".

Cirelli managed to record two assists before exiting Thursday's 7-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens with an undisclosed injury after playing only 8:51 of ice time. Cirelli has been producing at an impressive rate lately, with seven points (4G / 3A) in his last six games.

Anthony Cirelli
Fedotov will make his first NHL start on Friday vs. Buffalo.

The Flyers will turn to Fedotov for his first NHL start on Friday against the Buffalo Sabres. The towering 6'7 netminder made his NHL debut earlier this week, saving 19 of 21 shots (.905 SV%), entering a 4-3 loss to the New York Islanders in relief. Head Coach John Tortorella praised Fedotov's performance after the contest. The Flyers enter action as +111 road underdogs.

Ivan Fedotov
Marino (undisclosed) was not at practice Friday after leaving Wednesday's contest shaken up post-fighting major.

Marino received a fighting major and a game misconduct two seconds into Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the New York Rangers and did not return to the game after suffering an undisclosed injury and subsequent game misconduct. The 26-year-old Marino has 25 points (4G / 21A) and 83 blocks in 71 games this season and will travel with New Jersey to Ottawa on Saturday, but will decide on his availability in the morning.

John Marino
Minnesota has signed Samuel Hlavaj to a two-year, entry-level contract starting in 2024-25.
