The Flames have acquired Riley Damiani from the Stars for Emilio Pettersen.

Damiani was a fifth-round pick in 2018 and has appeared in just seven career NHL games with the Stars, tallying one goal and one assist. He has spent the entire 2023-24 season in the AHL, where he has 23 points (10G / 13A) in 53 games with Texas.

Riley Damiani
Saros will start against the Sabres on Thursday.

Saros will be right back between the pipes for the Predators on Thursday after seeing his personal six-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday. Saros allowed four goals on 30 shots as the Predators fell to the Canadiens 4-3 in overtime. After a shaky start to the season, Saros' recent run of form has seen his record improve to 26-21-3 on the year to go along with a respectable .907 SV%. He's got a great chance of getting back in the win column on Thursday as the Predators are -165 favourites over the Sabres.

Juuse Saros
Rousek will draw into the Sabres' lineup on Thursday.

Rousek will fill in for Tage Thompson, who is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Rousek played five games with the Sabres earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Rochester Americans (AHL). The 24-year-old winger has 38 points (10G / 28A) in 48 games with Rochester this season.

Lukas Rousek
Thompson (upper-body) will not play in Nashville on Thursday.

Thompson was a late scratch for Thursday's game with the team not announcing his absence until less than an hour before puck drop. The Sabres added that he is day-to-day with the injury. His first chance to return to the lineup will be for Saturday's game against the Oilers.

Tage Thompson
Comrie will start Thursday's game in Nashville.

Comrie will start the tail-end of Buffalo's back-to-back on Thursday after starter Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen got the start in Toronto on Wednesday. Comrie was saddled with the loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 29 shots in a 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Panthers on February 15th. He owns a 1-6-0 record on the year and has not won a game since his first start of the season, way back on October 21st. He will have a hard time getting back into the win column on Thursday as the Sabres find themselves as +135 underdogs in Nashville

Eric Comrie
Laughton (illness) will play in Florida on Thursday.

Laughton did not practice on Wednesday due to an illness, and his status was up in the air for Thursday's contest against the Florida Panthers. The 29-year-old Laughton has been tremendously productive lately, scoring 12 points (5G / 7A) in his last 11 games while averaging 16:33 time-on-ice.

Scott Laughton
Acciari (upper-body) will play against the Capitals on Thursday.

Acciari returned to the lineup two weeks ago after a multi-week absence due to an injury, and after playing six games, was on the sidelines in the Penguins' last contest. The Penguins' bottom-six forward has one assist, six shots, and nine hits in his last six games.

Noel Acciari
Bobrovsky will start against the Flyers on Thursday.

Bobrovsky will be back between the pipes for the Panthers on Thursday after Anthony Stolarz got the nod in Tuesday's 5-3 victory over the Devils. Bobrovsky picked up a third straight victory his last time out, allowing just two goals on 28 shots in Monday's 4-2 victory over the Rangers. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner owns a 31-11-2record on the year and a .918 SV%. He draws another strong matchup on Thursday with the Panthers being -260 favourites over the Flyers.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Jarry will start against the Capitals on Thursday.

The Penguins snapped a three-game losing skid in their last outing and will turn to Jarry between the pipes again on Thursday night. Jarry has allowed three or more goals in four of his last five games (3-2-0) but saved 33 of 36 shots (.917 SV%) in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Penguins enter action as -160 home favourites against a Washington Capitals club that was defeated 5-2 by the Arizona Coyotes in their last match.

Tristan Jarry
Lindgren will start in Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Lindgren will be between the pipes for the Capitals for the fourth-consecutive game when they travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins on Thursday. Lindgren took the loss on Sunday, allowing four goals on 27 shots as the Capitals fell to the Coyotes by a score of 5-2. Lindgren's record sits at 13-10-5 on the year to go along with a .906 SV% and 2.86 GAA. He draws a difficult matchup on Thursday as the Capitals find themselves as +140 underdogs in Pittsburgh.
