Beckman is expected to draw back into Minnesota's lineup on Thursday in Arizona.

With Marcus Johansson being placed on IR due to a lower-body injury, Beckman has been recalled from Iowa (AHL) and is expected to draw into the lineup on Thursday. Beckman was Minnesota's 75th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft but has been limited to only 12 career NHL games. In 48 games with the Iowa Wild, Beckman has 29 points (16G / 13A).

Bordealeau will draw back into the Sharks' lineup on Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Bordeleau was called up on Wednesday in correspondence to Ty Emberson (lower-body) being placed on injured reserve. The 22-year-old Bordeleau played six games with the Sharks earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Barracuda (AHL), tallying 25 points (11G / 14A) in 35 games.

Thomas Bordeleau
Chrona will start on Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Chrona will return to the crease for the second time in the last four games. The 23-year-old netminder was outstanding in his last outing, albeit a 3-2 losing effort in a shootout, saving 36 of 38 shots (.947 SV%) against the Dallas Stars. That said, the Sharks are sizeable +229 home underdogs against a New York Islanders club riding a four-game winning streak.

Magnus Chrona
Dallas has signed Connor Punnett to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Punnett is a 20-year-old, undrafted hard-nosed defenseman from Powassan, Ontario. In his fourth season in the OHL, Punnett has 19 points (5G / 14A) and 39 penalty minutes in 25 games with the Oshawa Generals. Dallas has signed him to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Connor Punnett
Zucker (trade related) will be a healthy scratch on Thursday as Arizona continues to look for trade suitors.

Zucker and Matthew Dumba will both be held out of the Coyotes' lineup in anticipation of a deal before Friday's trade deadline. Zucker has 24 points (9G / 16A), 104 shots, and 74 hits in 51 games this season.

Jason Zucker
Vejmelka will start on Thursday vs. Minnesota.

After a disappointing 5-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, the Coyotes will return to Vejmelka between the pipes on Thursday night. Vejmelaka is riding a two-game winning streak and saved 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals in his last outing. The Coyotes enter action as +126 home underdogs against the Minnesota Wild, losers of three of their last four (1-3-0).

Karel Vejmelka
Hanley will make his Flames' debut on Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

With the Dallas Stars acquiring Chris Tanev, Hanley became disposable for the Stars and was placed on waivers, then claimed by the Flames on Tuesday. The 32-year-old Hanley has three points (0G / 3A), 35 hits, and 32 blocks in 32 games this season.

Joel Hanley
Highmore (upper body) left Wednesday's game early and is not expected to suit on Thursday vs. Los Angeles.

Highmore was recalled from Belleville (AHL) on Wednesday and drew into Ottawa's lineup, tallying one assist before exiting the game with an upper-body injury after 6:06 time-on-ice. The undrafted 28-year-old has 29 points (9G / 20A) in 40 games with Belleville this season.

Matthew Highmore
Chabot (lower body) is out and will be reevaluated before Thursday's game after re-aggravating an earlier injury.

Chabot has been battling a lower-body injury for the past several games and will be out after being re-evaluated before Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings. Chabot has one point (1G / 0A) in his past five games after scoring five (3G / 2A) in his previous three. Max Guenette will likely draw into the lineup in Chabot's absence.

Thomas Chabot
Pickard will start on Thursday in Columbus.

Pickard has been excellent in a backup role since joining the Oilers in November and will return to the crease for the second time in the last three games. In his last outing, Pickard saved 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%), having his shutout bid snapped in the third period in a 6-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Oilers enter action as -261 road favourites on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Calvin Pickard

With Marcus Johansson being placed on IR due to a lower-body injury, Beckman has been recalled from Iowa (AHL). Beckman was Minnesota's 75th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft but has been limited to only 12 career NHL games. In 48 games with the Iowa Wild, Beckman has 29 points (16G / 13A).
