Sorokin was in the starter's crease at the Islanders' morning skate.

Semyon Varlamov was in the crease in the Islanders' previous game and fell to 0-2-1 since Patrick Roy took over as coach, contrasting Sorokin's impressive 3-1-0 record in that span. Sorokin has played exceptionally in his last two outings, allowing four total goals and boasting a .929 SV%. The 28-year-old Sorokin will likely return to the crease on Tuesday in a favourable matchup against a low-scoring Seattle Kraken team (2.73 GF / GP) that was defeated 3-1 by the New Jersey Devils last night.

Ilya Sorokin
Power (undisclosed) will be out Tuesday and is considered week-to-week after sustaining an injury in practice Monday.

Power did not complete practice on Monday, leaving early because of an undisclosed injury. After receiving imaging and further evaluations later in the day, he will be out on a week-to-week basis. The 21-year-old Power has 18 points (2G / 16A) in 51 games this season.

Owen Power
Stone (illness) is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Wild.

Mark Stone
Daccord will start in New Jersey on Monday.

Daccord will maintain his hold on the Kraken crease on Monday as Philip Grubauer is yet to make an appearance since returning from a lower-body injury on January 24th, though that will likely come to an end when the Kraken travel to Long Island on Tuesday for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Daccord was unfortunate to pick up the loss his last time out, stopping 35 of the 38 shots he faced as Seattle fell to the Flyers by a score of 3-2. He has enjoyed one of the biggest breakout campaigns across the NHL this season, posting a .921 SV% and a 2.34 GAA across 35 appearances.

Joey Daccord
Foerster (lower-body) will not play against the Coyotes on Monday.

Foerster is dealing with a lower-body injury and will sit out Monday's game against the Arizona Coyotes. He was spotted in a walking boot after Saturday's game against the Seattle Kraken. The 22-year-old Foerster has three goals and eight shots in his last four games while playing predominantly on a line with Ryan Poehling and Noah Cates.

Tyson Foerster
Stevens has cleared waivers and had his contract terminated.

Stevens and the Red Wings have agreed to mutually part ways which has led to the 27-year-old to clear waivers and have his contract terminated. The center was a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft (125th) by the St. Louis Blues and had 11 points (3G/8A) in 31 games played with Grand Rapids (AHL) this season.

Nolan Stevens
Rondbjerg (illness) returned to practice Monday and is expected to draw into the lineup vs. Minnesota.

Rondbjerg missed the Golden Knights' skate on Saturday due to illness but is expected to be good to go vs. Minnesota on Monday after taking part in the team's morning skate. The 24-year-old third-year pro has only appeared in 16 games for the Golden Knights this season and has three points, (1G/2A) 18 SOG, and a +4 plus/minus.

Jonas Rondbjerg
Couture (groin) has experienced a setback and is considered week-to-week.

Couture's season to forget earned another chapter Monday as the center experienced a setback related to his minor groin injury and is now expected to be out week-to-week. The 34-year-old has only been able to appear in six games for the Sharks this season and has an assist, seven SOG, and four PIMs.

Logan Couture
Hill will start on Monday vs. Minnesota.

Hill will start for the fifth time in the last six games when he tends the twine of Monday night. The 27-year-old Hill has been exceptional since returning from injury, winning each of his four starts, allowing two or fewer goals in each, posting a sensational .947 SV%. The Golden Knights will attempt to extend their two-game winning streak as -142 home favourites against a Minnesota Wild club that has scored three or fewer goals in each of their last four games (2-2-0).
