Hill allowed three goals on 25 shots in his series debut in Game 5. Despite strong play from Logan Thompson early in the series, the Golden Knights will turn to Hill's experience again in Game 6. Hill was 10-7-1 with a 2.54 GAA, .913 SV% and two shutouts on home-ice this season.
DeAngelo suffered a wrist injury in Game 5 vs. the Islanders, but X-rays came back negative, and he's expected to play in Game 1. DeAngelo will likely remain in the lineup until Brett Pesce returns from his lower-body injury, which could happen at some point in Round 2.
Pesce recently removed his walking boot but his status for Round 2 is still uncertain. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said the team remains hopeful that he'll play at some point vs. the Rangers. Look for Tony DeAngelo to remain his replacement in Game 1.

Saros stopped 19 of 20 shots in the Predators' Game 5 win in Vancouver. Through five games, Saros is 2-3 with a 2.21 GAA and .879 SV%. The Predators have done an outstanding job in front of Saros, allowing just 18.2 shots against per game and the lowest xGA/60 (2.27) in the postseason.
With Texas (AHL) reaching the second round of the AHL playoffs, Mavrik Bourque has been loaned back to the Stars to continue their playoff push. The 22-year-old will make a much welcomed return after he led Texas in scoring during the regular season with 26 goals and 77 points in 71 games played.
With Charlotte being eliminated from the AHL playoffs, Spencer Knight has been recalled as a third goalie for Florida during their postseason run. The 23-year-old did not appear for the Panthers during the regular season but had a solid campaign with Charlotte, posting a .905 SV% and 2.41 GAA.
Schenn missed Game 5 due to illness but practiced in full on Thursday and is considered day-to-day ahead of their matchup on Friday. The 34-year-old veteran has appeared in four games so far with Nashville in the playoffs but is without a point, and has four SOG while averaging 15:03 TOI.
With Nashville in need of some reinforcements with Luke Schenn still fighting an illness, Kevin Gravel has been recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) on Thursday. The 32-year-old last appeared in the NHL in 2022-23 and played in 23 games with Nashville, picking up an assist, 20 SOG and a -10 plus/minus.
Swayman's three-game playoff win streak was brought to a halt in Game 5 as he allowed two goals on 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime loss but will have a chance at redemption on Thursday vs. Toronto. The 25-year-old has been nearly unbeatable in this year's playoffs, with his 3-1-0 record, 1.49 GAA and .952 SV%. He will look to close out Toronto on the road on Thursday, who are without their 69 goal scorer Auston Matthews for Game 6.
Grzelyck will head to the press box for Game 6 as he is replaced by Kevin Shattenkirk in Boston's lineup on Thursday. The 30-year-old has only appeared in three games in the playoffs thus far, and is without a point, has three SOG and two PIMs while averaging 18:10 TOI/GP.
Shattenkirk will draw back into Boston's lineup for Game 6 on Thursday after being a healthy scratch for their previous game and will replace Matt Grzelyck. The 35-year-old has yet to pick up a point through four games played but has three SOG and a -3 plus/minus while averaging 13:11 TOI/GP.
Heinen missed the morning skate Thursday due to an undisclosed injury and will be out for Game 6 as he is considered day-to-day. The 28-year-old signed with Boston on a PTO this season and has an assist, five SOG and a -1 plus/minus through five games before his injury.
Beecher was a healthy scratch for Game 5 but will draw back into the lineup for Game 6 as he replaces the injured Danton Heinen. The 23-year-old scored Boston's first goal of the series vs. Toronto but has yet to put up another point throughout his four games played.
