Wedgewood (upper-body) will remain out vs. New York on Thursday but is considered day-to-day.

Wedgewood is not expected to be out long-term, but will not play on Thursday against the New York Islanders. The Avalanche recalled Trent Miner to serve as Mackenzie Blackwood's backup on Thursday, and he could draw into a game during a back-to-back this weekend if Wedgewood remains sidelined.

Scott Wedgewood
Wedgewood will start on Long Island on Thursday.

Colorado has been alternating goalies in recent weeks, but with Scott Wedgewood (lower body) sidelined, Blackwood's return to the crease on Thursday was seemingly inevitable. The 28-year-old Blackwood has been outstanding lately, posting a 0.50 GAA, .979 SV%, and two shutouts in his last four appearances (4-0-0). He has a 1.84 GAA and .930 SV% in seven games this season (6-0-1). Colorado enters Thursday's contest as -180 road favorites against a New York Islanders team coming off an impressive 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Wolf will start vs. Minnesota on Thursday.

Devin Cooley has led the way for the Flames over the previous few weeks, but he struggled in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators, allowing Wolf the opportunity to re-seize the crease. The 24-year-old Wolf was serviceable in relief of Cooley on Tuesday, saving 11 of 12 shots (.917 SV%), but has struggled this season. He has a 3.16 GAA and .891 SV% in 21 games this season (6-12-2). The Flames enter Thursday's contest as +103 home underdogs against a red-hot Minnesota Wild team that is 8-0-2 in their last 10 games.

Dustin Wolf
Soderstrom is expected to make his Bruins' debut vs. St. Louis on Thursday.

With Michael Callahan (undisclosed) added to a growing list of injured players in Boston, Soderstrom will be the most recent AHL call-up to crack the NHL roster. The 24-year-old Soderstrom has 11 points (1G / 10A) in 53 career NHL games, but has not played in the NHL since a three-game stint with the Arizona Coyotes in the 2023-24 season.

Victor Soderstrom
Tolopilo has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) under emergency conditions.

Injuries in Vancouver's crease over the past few weeks unexpectedly thrust Tolopilo into the spotlight, posting a 3.56 GAA and .892 SV% in two games (1-1-0). The undrafted 25-year-old goalie returns from the AHL, where he has a 3.35 GAA and .901 SV% in five games (1-3-1) with the Abbotsford Canucks.

Nikita Tolopilo
Patera has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Nikita Tolopilo was away from Vancouver to tend to the birth of his child, resulting in Petera being recalled, but Patera has since been reassigned to the AHL. The 26-year-old Patera has been recalled numerous last month, but did not impress in his only NHL contest. He has a 2.89 GAA and .899 SV% in six games (2-2-1) with Abbotsford (AHL) this season.

Jiri Patera
Jarry will start in Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Jarry allowed three goals on 13 shots (.769 SV%) in a one-sided 7-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but responded in Monday's dominant 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers, saving 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%). The 30-year-old Jarry has played well on most nights this season, boasting a 2.57 GAA and .911 SV% in 11 outings (8-2-0). The Penguins enter Thursday's contest as +157 road underdogs against a Lightning team whose seven-game winning streak ended on Tuesday in a 2-1 loss to the New York Islanders.

Tristan Jarry
Pickard will start vs. Seattle on Thursday.

The Oilers have struggled between the pipes all season, but have only allowed one goal in their last two games (1-1-0) courtesy of Stuart Skinner saving 49 of 50 shots (.980 SV%). Recent success aside, they will turn to Pickard on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken. The 33-year-old Pickard was terrific as Edmonton's backup in the previous two seasons, but has not played well in 2025-26, posting an ugly 4.04 GAA and .847 SV% in nine appearances (2-3-2). The Oilers enter Thursday's contest as -194 home favorites against a Kraken team that has scored just three goals in its last three games (0-2-1).

Calvin Pickard
Jarry was the first goalie off the ice at Pittsburgh's morning skate.

Korpisalo will start vs. St. Louis on Thursday.

The Bruins have battled through a myriad of key injuries lately, and will hope for stability between the pipes when they turn to Korpisalo on Thursday against the St. Louis Blues. Korpisalo has lost three straight starts, but played well in relief of Jeremy Swayman in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, saving all nine shots he faced in the third period. The 31-year-old Finnish goalie has a troubling 3.52 GAA and .880 SV% in 11 appearances this season (4-6-0). The Bruins enter Thursday's contest as +124 home underdogs against a Blues team that has earned points in three of its last four games (2-1-1).

Joonas Korpisalo
Binnington will start in Boston on Thursday.

The Blues have played better lately, but are coming off a disappointing 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks, a game where Binnington only survived half of the first period, allowing three goals on five shots (.600 SV%). The 32-year-old Binnington hopes to rebound on Thursday, returning to the crease against a Boston Bruins team that is 3-5-0 in its last eight games. Binnington has a subpar 3.20 GAA and .878 SV% in 18 games this season (6-6-5). The Blues enter Thursday's game against the Bruins as -137 road favorites.
