Franzen played just one game after returning from a concussion. This is terrible news for the Red Wings who will be without Franzen, Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg tonight in Philadelphia. Their top-6 tonight will consist of five players who played with Grand Rapids (AHL) last season.

There was some concern over whether Hartnell would play tonight after being spotted in a walking boot over the weekend. He will be back in his familiar spot with Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. Hartnell has two goals and six assists in his last 10 games.

Hamonic has missed the last eight games with a concussion, but is eligible to come off of IR and return to the lineup whenever he is able to play. He skated at Monday's morning skate, so he is expected to be close, however his placement on IR and the recall of Matt Donovan all but rules him out for Wednesday's Stadium Series game against the Rangers.

Rinaldo has missed the last 10 games with a high-ankle sprain, but is really close to returning. Getting rid of the non-contact jersey suggests that he could play tonight, but there is no real need for him to be in the lineup against the Red Wings.
