Allen left Saturday's game and did not return. His injury is not serious and should be considered day-to-day. The Ducks are hopeful that he will be available for Friday's game vs. Calgary.

Forsberg will miss his sixth straight game when the Predators are in Columbus on Wednesday. Forsberg has one goal and four assists with a minus-8 rating this season. Still I think the Preds are happy they acquired him, with Martin Erat now demanding a trade in Washington.

Seidenberg has missed the last three games after injuring his lower-body last Tuesday. He will travel with the team and could be in the lineup on Wednesday vs. the Red Wings. Seidenberg has six assists and a plus-10 rating in 21 games.

McQuaid has missed the last eight games after suffering a lower body injury on November 9 vs. Toronto. He continues to skate with the Bruins as he works his way back. He will travel to Detroit and could be in the lineup on Wednesday. McQuaid is a rugged defenseman who brings a lot of physicality to the Bruins blueline, but does not produce enough offensively to be fantasy relevant.

Shattenkirk missed Monday's win over the WIld because of the flu but should be in the lineup tomorrow vs. Colorado. He has been great this season recording one goal and 15 assists with a plus-7 rating in 22 games. In his first game vs. his former team this season he had one assist with one shot on goal in 18:50 TOI.

Hornqvist missed Monday's game after being injured on Saturday vs. New York. Hornqvist is an important part of the Preds offence and power-play with his net-front presence. His injury is not believed to be too serious, but he will not travel with the team to Columbus.

The Penguins did not say what the nature or severity of Martin's injury is, but a further update will come in a few days. For now consider him day-to-day. Robert Bortuzzo will likely enter the lineup and if the injury is serious, Simon Despres could be recalled.

Glass was injured blocking a shot on Saturday vs. Montreal. He has two goals and four assists in 24 games. Glass is not fantasy relevant.

Bourque will miss his fourth straight game Wednesday when the Canadiens travel to Buffalo. Bourque has just five goals and one assist in 21 games.

Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle has ruled Lupul out for tomorrow and said it would be a miracle if he plays on Friday or Saturday. This is the same injury that Jonathan Quick has, but recovery should be faster for a player than a goalie. Quick's recovery time is expected to be near six weeks. Mason Raymond will move up to the second line with Lupul out.

Whitney missed the last five games with a groin injury, but will be in the lineup tonight vs. Anaheim. The 41-year-old veteran has one goal and seven assists in 17 games.
According to Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle, Lupul suffered a pulled groin in last night's 6-0 loss to the Blue Jackets. Not practicing this morning puts his availability for tomorrow's contest in question. Monitor his status after Wednesday's morning skate.

Datsyuk rode the stationary bike today but did not skate with his teammates today. Red Wings GM Ken Holland confirmed that Datsyuk will not play tomorrow. Datsyuk was injured after being elbowed in the head by Senators defenseman Jared Cowen. Consider home questionable for Friday's game vs. the Islanders.

Semin has missed the last four games altering being concussed on November 16. A return to the ice next week, could have him back in the lineup by next weekend.

Bennett, who was injured Friday against the Islanders. In his absence the Penguins recalled Zach Sill and Andrew Ebbett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Parise returned briefly before retiring to the dressing room for good. The Wild has the day off Tuesday, so typically when that happens, injury updates aren’t revealed until the next availability, which will occur Wednesday morning. So we likely won't have an update on Parise's status until then.

Neuvirth left practice early on Monday and was listed as day-to-day. He presence at practice suggests that he should be able to dress tomorrow and the Caps will not have to make a roster move.

Lupul left the game after played 11:57 and did not return. Lupul has a large history of injuries. He has never played a full 82-game season and has missed a total of 79 games in the last four seasons. There is no word on the severity of the injury yet, expect an update on Tuesday.

Carter missed the last 10 games with a broken foot. Prior to the injury, he played in 14 games registering five goals and four assists. The 28-year-old sniper had 26 goals in 48 games last season and had a career-high of 46 goals in 2008-09. He can be expected to lead the Kings in goals through the remainder of the season and should be activated in all formats.

While the minimum amount of time spent on the injured reserve list is seven calendar days, there is no maximum amount of time that a player can be placed on the injured reserve list. No injury recovery timeline is the same as another as there are several factors that go into the rehab process for a player being affected by injury.
