Merrill played as a seventh defenseman with Joseph Blandisi out on Sunday, but with Blandisi returning from an illness, Merrill will serve as a healthy scratch vs. the Jets.

Liles has not been in the lineup since February 26th, but will replace Colin Miller in the lineup tonight vs. Nashville. The 36-year-old blueline has five assists in 31 games this season.

Polak missed the last two games with a suspension, but will draw in for Alexey Marchenko tonight vs. the Panthers. Polak has just four goals and four assists (eight points) in 67 games this season.

Mayfield was in the lineup for the last four games, where he had one assist while averaging 12:56 TOI/GM. Mayfield, who has appeared 21 games with the Islanders this season, but will be scratched for Thomas Hickey tonight.

Prince returned to the lineup on Saturday, but will come right back out of the lineup for Alan Quine tonight. Prince has 18 points (5G / 13A) in 48 games this season, but will sit vs. the Predators.

Hickey was a healthy scratch on Saturday, but will replace Scott Mayfield vs. the Predators. Hickey has three assists in his last six games and has totalled 19 points (3G / 16A) in 69 games this season.

Quine was a healthy scratch on Saturday, but will replace Shane Prince in the lineup on Monday. Quine has been in the lineups for three of the last six games, picking up just one assist in 11:16 TOI/GM. He has a total of 16 points (5G / 11A) in 53 games this season.
