Sikura failed to record a point in 12:39 TOI in his Avalanche debut on Saturday. He was sent down and Colorado recalled Martin Kaut and Mikhail Maltsev to take his place on the roster.

Hardman had one goal and two assists (three points) in eight games with the Blackhawks last season. He opened the AHL season with two assists in two games. After being called up this morning, Hardman was skating on the third line with Henrik Borgstrom and Alex DeBrincat, so look for him to play on Tuesday.

Mitchell played in the Blackhawks season opener but was scratched in after they signed Erik Gustafsson to a one-year deal. Mitchell will get playing time in Rockford, where he had one assist in five games last season.

David Rittich was added to the COVID-19 protocol list, so Ingram has been brought up to serve as Juuse Saros vs. Carolina.

However, they were able to recall Glass on Saturday and should at least be able to go with 11 forwards and six defensemen tonight. With Chandler Stephenson suspended, Glass could centre a line with Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty.


After drawing into the lineup on Tuesday, Connolly goes to the taxi squad with Eetu Luostarinen coming back the other way.


Matt Murray was a late scratch on Sunday night, so Gustavsson comes up, presumably to backup Joey Daccord on Monday. The Senators did not have an update on Murray's status this morning, so it's unclear how long Gustavsson will be with the team.

The Ducks promoted their top prospect on Sunday and he should make his NHL debut on Monday. Zegras skated with Sam Steel and Jakob Silfverberg in Sunday's practice, paving the way for him to play in the top-6 right away. The 19-year-old had nine points (4G / 5A) in his first eight AHL games.


Timashov spent the 2020 season with the Maple Leafs and Red Wings before being dealt to the Islanders this offseason. Timashov will replace Oliver Wahlstrom in the lineup on Sunday and comes in with nine points (4G / 5A) in 44 career NHL games.

Czarnik is expected to replace Kieffer Bellows in the Islanders lineup and make his season and Islanders debut in Philadelphia. the 28-year-old has 38 points (13G / 25A) in 121 career NHL games.
