Roussel has been sidelined by a knee injury since mid-March, so he'll go to Utica to get back up to game speed before making his season debut with the Canucks. Roussel played pretty well in his first season with the Canucks, totalling a career-high with 31 points (9G / 22A) in 65 games.

Dea currently leads Rochester in scoring with 13 points (7G / 6A) in 18 games. The 25-year-old will likely make his season debut on Monday with Evan Rodrigues getting hurt early in Sunday's contest. Dea has seven points (5G / 2A) in 29 career NHL games with the Penguins and Devils.

Gettinger played in two games during his call-up but was a healthy scratch in Montreal on Saturday. Boo Nieves will replace him on the Rangers roster.

Nieves has recorded one goal and seven assists (eight points) in 20 AHL games this season, earning his first call-up of 2019-20. He will replace Tim Gettinger on the roster and will likely replace Michael Haley in the lineup on Monday.

Stillman has no points in three games with the Panthers and has picked up just two points (1G / 1A) in 13 games on the Springfield blueline this season. There's no word on if Stillman will play on Sunday bit if all six defensemen are healthy, he could replace Josh Brown or Mark Pysyk.


Jaros played 10:21 TOI while picking up four PIMS and a minus-1 rating in his season debut vs. the Rangers last night. With the Senators off until Monday, Jaros' return to the AHL suggests that they expect one of Erik Brannstrom, Nikita Zaitsev or Cody Goloubef to be ready to play.

Blandisi played in two straight games but was a healthy scratch for the last two games with Patric Hornqvist back in the lineup. Blandisi returns to the AHL, where he has two goals and two assists in eight games.

Andreoff appeared in six games while he was with the Flyers and tallied one assist and fired eight shots on net. His return to the AHL opens up a roster spot for Scott Laughton (finger) to be activated from LTIR. Andreoff has seven points (3G / 4A) in 11 AHL games.

Cody Goloubef was hurt in the morning skate, so Jaros comes up and will make his season debut on Friday. Jaros, who has six points (1G / 5A) in 14 AHL games this season, has registered 10 points (1G / 9A) in 63 career NHL games with Ottawa.

Lajoie has five assists in 17 AHL games this season and gets called-up with Erik Brannstrom battling injury. The 22-year-old had 15 points (7G / 8A) in 56 games with the Senators last season.

Beaudin has split his 2019-20 campaign between the AHL and NHL and received another call-up because Vladislav Namestnikov is on IR with a lower-body injury. Beaudin has just one assist in 10 games with the Senators this season.

With Mike Green and Patrik Nemeth not expected to play on Thursday, Hicketts joins the Red Wings in Columbus. The 23-year-old has two assists in five NHL games this season and is second among Griffins' defensemen with nine points (all assists) in 11 AHL games.

Devan Dubnyk missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons, so Kahkonen comes up and will likely serve as Alex Stalock's backup on Thursday.

Gettinger is a fourth-line banger that will replace Lias Andersson, who was sent the other way. Gettinger is 6-foot-6, 218 lbs. who has registered four goals with two assists in 17 AHL games so far this season. He appeared in four games with the Rangers a year ago.

The former No.7 overall pick has been limited to a fourth-line role and has recorded just one assist in 17 games this season. He goes to Hartford where he will be able to play big minutes and Tim Gettinger comes up to eat the fourth-line ice-time.

Vanecek came up to serve as Braden Holtby's backup for a couple of games but will be replaced by Ilya Samsonov in New York. The 23-year-old returns to Hershey, where he has gone 4-2-2 with a 2.65 GAA and .894 SV% in eight games.

Lewington has been called up several times this season and has appeared in a total of six NHL games and two AHL games, failing to record a point in all eight games. He will likely serve as an extra defenseman in New York on Wednesday night.

Sgarbossa has spent most of his career in the AHL, where he's been a prolific scorer, but has just 10 points (2G / 8A) in 48 career NHL games with the Avalanche, Ducks and Panthers. The 27-year-old forward has 14 points (7G / 7A) to lead Hershey through 17 games this season. He could replace Garnet Hathaway in the lineup on Wednesday if Hathaway gets suspended.
