Domingue will likely see a heavy workload while Vasilevskiy’s out, meaning Pasquale could backup for a few games and then swap out with Connor Ingram so both goalies stay fresh in the AHL.

Clendening has only played in four games with Columbus this season and was placed on waivers on Tuesday. Clendening heads to the AHL, where he had 35 points (5G / 30A) in 59 games a season ago.

Gleason had one assist in two games with the Stars during his call-up. He heads back to Texas where he has recorded six points (2G / 4A) in 11 games.

Forsling missed the start of the regular season with an injury, but has picked up two assists in five games with Rockford since being sent down. With Brandon Davidson banged up, Forsling could draw into the lineup on Wednesday. The 22-year-old has 18 points (5G / 13A) in 79 career NHL games.

Greer failed to pick up a point in his only game with the Avalanche and returns to the AHL where he has 10 points (3G / 7A) in nine contests.

Zykov has been a healthy scratch for the last three games so he will head to Charlotte to get some playing time. Zykov can spend up to two weeks with Charlotte, but can’t actually be assigned to the AHL without passing through waivers. The 23-year-old has three assists in 13 games with Carolina this season. He had 54 points (33G / 21A) in 633 games with Charlotte last year.

Shaw was signed to a two-way contract on Sunday and heads to Manitoba to start his Jets career. Shaw was originally with the Ducks on a PTO, picking up five points (2G / 3A) in seven games with San Diego (AHL) before signing in Winnipeg.

Petersen, 24, was a fifth round pick of the Sabres (No.129 overall) in 2013 and it appears he will make his NHL debut in the near future. Both Jonathan Quick and Jack Campbell are out with a torn meniscus, so Petersen joins Peter Budaj as the Kings goaltending duo. Petersen was a standout at the University of Notre Dame but has struggled in the AHL this season, going 2-3-1 with a 4.29 GAA and .881 SV% in 10 games.

Paul has registered one assist in six games with the Senators this season. He returns to Belleville, where he has six points (2G / 4A) in six games.

John Carlson returned to the Capitals lineup on Sunday, so Ness heads back to Hershey. The 28-year-old has four assists and a minus-1 rating in 12 games with the Bears.
