Piskula, 31, was one of the final cuts in Ducks’ training camp and has been recalled because Josh Manson (upper-body) is out and has been placed on IR. Piskula has no points and a plus-2 rating in four games with San Diego.

Gudlevskis, 23, has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in two starts with Syracuse. With Ben Bishop starting the first wight games, including last night, Gudlevskis could make his season debut tonight vs. the Blackhawks.

Mattie, 22, has tore up the AHL to start the season. The 2011 32nd overall pick has scored four goals with three assists (seven points) in three games with Chicago. He will make his season debut on Saturday with Robby Fabbri (concussion) and Jaden Schwartz (leg) sidelined. He has two assists in 13 NHL games.

Froese has scored three gaols in four games with the Marlies so far this season. After being moved to the AHL last season, the 24-year-old had 18 goals and 24 assists (42 points) in 46 games. The former fourth round pick could make his NHL debut on Saturday with Tyler Bozak still sidelined with a lower-body injury.

Arvidsson, 22, scored one goal in three games with the Predators after making the team out of training camp, but he will head back to the AHL for a little more seasoning. He had 22 goals and 33 assists (55 points) in 70 games with Milwaukee last season.

Lieu wen did not get into a game during his call-up and it looks like he was only with the team as a place holder for Linus Ullmark to go to Rochester and get some game experience in North America.

Ullmark, 22, came over from Sweden in the offseason and he has had a strong start to his North American career. He has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.72 GAA and .932 SV% in three starts with Rochester and could make his NHL debut on Saturday vs. the Devils.

Lerg was sent down on Wednesday with the belief that Joonas Donskoi would be ready to play on Thursday, but Donskoi is unavailable, so Lerg has been recalled and will be in the lineup tonight.

Since being claimed off of waivers from Vancouver, Corrado has been a healthy scratch for six straight games. He heads to the AHL on a conditioning stint where he will get a few games in before returning to the Maple Leafs.

Ramo posted a 4.38 GAA and .879 SV% in his first three starts of the season, clearly not the numbers the Flames were expecting when they signed him to a one-year, $3.8M contract this July. Ramo likely went unclaimed because of his high price tag, so he heads to the AHL. Jon Gillies has had a great start with Stockton, so Ramo could end up going from opening night starter to AHL backup.

Kuhnhackl did not appear in a game with the Penguins, he heads to WBS where he had 12 goals and 18 assists (30 points) in 72 games last season.

Cross had one assist and a minus-1 rating in three games with the Bruins. With Cross being sent down, look for Zach Trotman to get back into the lineup on Friday.
