Jonas Hiller hurt in practice, doubtful for tonight
According to Mark Whicker of The OC Register, Jonas Hiller got injured in practice due to a close-up shot.  Whicker noted that the shot knocked Hiller’s mask off creating a gash below his left eye, which he would require stitches. Here is the full update so far:

Jonas Hiller had to leave Saturday’s practice in Chicago when a close-in shot knocked his mask off and delivered a cut below his left eye.

Hiller was stunned and had to be helped to his feet and off the ice. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital and received four sutures. He will be re-examined before the Ducks decide to play him tonight against the Blackhawks.

He is doubtful to play tonight as the Ducks try to set a franchise record of seven straight wins.
