On this week’s episode, Elan and Brian cut through the hype on several overachievers, and get as close as they ever do to buying into the hype that surrounds one newly-minted NHLer.

Starting off with a look at this weeks injuries and outjuries, we focus in on one particular lineup returnee climbing his team’s depth chart faster than expected at the cost of one of his teammates, and draw attention to a defenseman who could get a chance to suddenly step into a new and important role. We also address the sadly difficult question of which team’s players you need to avoid the most.
