Keeping Karlsson (Podcast) – Fontaine of Youth

Updated: April 6, 2015 at 12:46 pm by Brock Seguin

After an entire season’s worth of adds, drops, trades, waiver claims, injuries, outjuries, slumps, streaks and snoozers, it all comes down to this! And, of course, we’re here to help you go for gold– or bronze– with the final 2014-15 regular season edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast!

This week’s show kicks off with the outjuries that could help put you over the top, including two top 9 forwards in Winnipeg, a top 6 forward in Ottawa, and a top ??? forward in Manhattan.

This week’s look at injuries and their ripple effectsincludes the Tampa Bay blue line, a shuffled up forward group in St. Louis, Jets defensemen (a recurring topic..),Calgary’s goalie crease, and the outlook for one of the hottest lines in hockey that, believe it or not, belongs to the Oilers.

Speaking of goalie creases, this episode also features a quick look around the league at goalies that may be able to help you out for a game or two over the final week of the season.

Finally, Elan and Brian cover off some of the latest streakers that you may be able to pluck from free agency and hopefully count amongst your playoff MVPs, including a backup(?) goalie in Detroit, even-strength excellencies in Minnesota and New York, a finally-emerging rookie in Washington, a trio of Sabres, a trio of Sharks, and a greybearded Panther.

The episode wraps up with another tribute to the teams that are gone, but certainly not forgotten.
