LA’s top line of Ryan Smyth, Anze Kopitar, and Justin Williams have been clicking so far in the preseason, amassing a collective 8 points and a +10 rating in their two preseason games played so far. Look for LA coach Andy Murray to go with this line to kick off the season and attempt to create more chemistry with them over the remainder of the preseason. Last season, Kopitar lead the Kings with 66 points, Williams (acquired mid-season from Carolina) posted 14 points in an injury-riddled 44 games, and Smyth (acquired in the offseason from Colorado) posted 59 points. Hopefully this line stays hot for the season as each of these guys could use point total increases over last season.
