According to Scott Goldstein of the Dallas Morning News, center Mike Ribeiro was arrested on charges of public intoxication.

No word yet if this incident will effect his playing time or if he will be suspended.  When asked by Andrew’s Stars Page, GM Joe Nieuwendyk responded with this statement:

As about possible discipline for Ribeiro, Nieuwendyk said the team will gather all the information and then decide how to handle things.

The Stars will not play until Thursday, when they host the Detroit Red Wings for their home opener.
