UPDATED 12/2/11: Mike Richards left last night’s game following a high hit from Sean Bergenheim. While the hit was deemed legal by NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan, it will knock the former Philadelphia Flyer out for a few games. The team is expected to place him on the IR tomorrow meaning he will miss at least seven days. In his first 25 games with the Kings, Richards scored 11 goals and 20 points.

In the meantime, coach Terry Murray took out the blender once again, placing Simon Gagne on the top line and moving Jarret Stoll back to the second line. To see the full lines, click here.
