2021 NHL Player Poll: Player personality questions

The NHLPA conducted a survey consisting of nearly 500 NHL players, on a variety of topics.

Yesterday, we looked at the players’ answers to the on-ice questions.

Today, we’re looking at the player personality questions.

In response to “who has the most unique tape job?”, 42.32% of the players voted for David Pastrnak, while 19.15 voted for Tim Stützle of the Ottawa Senators.

You be the judge:

We think the players got this one right.

As for who is most fashionable, the players were a bit more split on this one, with Auston Matthews receiving 21.16% of the vote, Pastrnak at 11.08%, and P.K. Subban, Henrik Lundqvist, and Kris Letang trailing shortly behind.

Finally, and to the surprise of absolutely no one, Sidney Crosby was voted most superstitious, receiving 27.35% of the vote. Fans know all about Crosby’s pregame stretching routine during warmups, and perhaps most notably, how he’s used the same jockstrap since minor hockey.

Tomorrow, we’ll get into the players’ answers to the questions that called for their opinions on the 2020-21 season!
